I should've known my life wasn't able to be planned as soon as my 16th Birthday but I guess I continued to ignore it.
Every life has a certain route it has to follow, if you go off the road, at a later date you will reach your destination.
That's just how life is.
I shouldn't have planned out who I was going to marry by the first kiss.
Because life just doesn't work out like that.
I'm Hermione Granger, and this is my story.
I was born a wizard into a muggle family, raised as a muggle until my 11th birthday when; as you may have guessed; I received my hogwarts letter.
At that very moment Oxford was thrown out the window.
You all probably know that I was a part of the Golden Trio; who defeated Voldemort.
But you don't know what happened after that.
This story starts 6 years later.

"Ron, what in Merlin's beard are you still doing asleep?" Hermione Granger shouted at her fiancé; Ron Weasley.
"Five more minutes" he mumbled back.
You see Ron had been out drinking the whole night.
"You need to get up. Now!" Hermione said visibly agitated.
"I have to go to the office!" Hermione spoke, getting more agitated by the second.
"Just go, I want to sleep!" Ron mumbled as soon as he heard the door shut.
Hermione made her way down the leaf strewn cobbled street, she had to get to the office fast, she had a deadline as it was.
You see Hermione is a writer for the Daily Prophet but instead of writing gossip, she writes fact.
"You're Late!" Said Rita Skeeter slyly when Hermione walked in.
"No, actually Miss Skeeter I'm right on time, you moved the clock hands." Hermione replied matter of factly, like she did every morning.
Rita was always trying to find a way to get her fired, it seemed everyone preferred Hermione's stories to hers.
The two never liked each other and now that they were working together on stories it just seemed like every time she opened her mouth to speak her opinion, Rita would have an answer ready at lightning.
As soon as Hermione got back to the little nook she called an office; she breathed in the scent of home! Books were strewn across her desk.
Newspapers hung off the walls.
It had to have been her favourite place.
She then noticed a small note.
On which was written the daily task.
She read out the note.
'Miss Granger, would you please write a story on Draco Malfoy today.'
"Urgggh" Hermione sighed, she hated the guts out of Draco. The former death eater use to torment herself, Ron And Harry throughout their days at the famous wizarding school.
So she done what she always done, wrote the best of everyone down on her piece of parchment.
'Mr Malfoy has always been a huge part of the wizarding world, the reformed death eater has since given all of his fortunes to charity.' She goes on to state the various different charities and where Draco Works. Draco Malfoy was now an auror, it would seem.
At 6pm, Hermione handed in her story to the editor and left early.
She unlocked the wooden door quietly in case Ron would be asleep.
But to her horror when she opened the door, she saw her fiancé cheating.
He was kissing another woman.
"RON! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" She shouted in fury.
"'Mione it's not what it looks like." He tried to explain.
"THEN WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?" Hermione shouted.
The woman then replied, "I love this man and he loves me, it appears that you don't love him and her doesn't love you!"
"IM LEAVING" Hermione shouted.
She then brought out her wand, said an incantation of her own invention and all of her stuff came flying close to her, she then minimised and fit it all into a purse.
Finally she said; "Goodbye Ron!" And slammed the door.
Where could she go now?
Harry was bound to stand up to Ron so she couldn't stay with him and Ginny.
Luna was away in Ireland imvestigating some gnargle infestations.
She had money so she figured she'd go buy an apartment.
She found one on the other side of London; sure she'd have to take a train to the office but at least she was as far away from Ron but still in London.
She opened the door.
"Hello?" Hermione asked.
"Hello my dear, would you like to buy our rent an apartment?" A kind man dressed in a bell boy uniform asked.
"I'd like to buy please!" Hermione replied.
"Ok the apartment will cost about £60000 and you'll have to sign these papers!"
"Here you go." She handed him the money and started to sign those papers.
When she was finished he said "allow me to take you to your apartment." He brought her up 4 levels and opened the door for her.
"If you need anything else, I'm just downstairs." He smiled kindly.
"Thank you." She replied and had a look around her new home.
'Not to bad' she thought to herself.
By 9pm she'd managed to set up all her things in a way she liked it and since she had no food; she decided to order pizza.
At 10pm she heard a light knocking at the door.
"Welcome, Neighbour!" Draco Malfoy said.
Once they realised who each other were they both stood staring at each other in awe.
