Phil's Point Of View
After we had seen the movie we decided to walk around and see if we could find somewhere to eat dinner. As we walked, I decided to ask Dan something that has been on my mind for quite a while. So I spoke up and said, "Dan, are you gay?". Silence. Dan stared at me, completely taken by surprise.
"Yes," he said. Then he walked faster and faster, until he was running away from me.
Dan's Point Of View
"Dan, are you gay?" "Dan, are you gay?" "Dan, are you gay?".
These are the words that kept repeating in my mind over and over. Why!? Why did I say yes? It may be true but he is STRAIGHT! If he knew that I am secretly in love with him, I can't even imagine. But it wouldn't be good. I can just imagine the shock on his perfectly sculpted face, the horror of when he realized that I loved him. I knew I would have to leave, to move out.
