Chapter Two: HANGOUT
"Seriously? Siya yon? Siya NA yon? Di naman gwapo. Kainis naman kayo e. I expected so much mga atengs. Disappointed ako... CHAROT!!! Pero seryoso, di naman siya gwapo," I hissed.
"What's with your eyes, darling? Na-stuck ka na ata sa itsura ni Rev kaya wala nang ibang gwapo sa paningin mo. Kairita ka, alam mo ba yun?" Kem said then rolled her eyes.
"Totoo naman e! Hindi siya gwapo. What's with you guys?" Inis kong sagot.
"Freshmen! Please be seated. The programme will start shortly."
I looked for a seat and decided to make friends with my seatmate.
"Hi there! I'm Ysa, Robyn Ysabelle Nolasco! You can call me Ysa for short. Freshman din ako. Let's be friends! Ikaw first friend ko dito!" tumawa ako ng pa-demure para hindi naman siya mabigla sakin, "Mukha ka kasing friendly kaya I chose to sit beside you".
"Hi! I'm Justine Ana, Tine for short," ngumiti siya sa akin and viola! Meron na agad akong kaibigan sa batch ko!
And so the programme started... It was pretty much the same nung Scholars' Orientation. After the orientation, naririnig ko yung mga students sa school na nagbubulungan...
"Omygosh. May poging freshie! Ayun siya oh!" the girl whispered and pointed the guy my cousin and sister was talking about.
"I heard Uno daw name nun. Tara girl! Pakilala tayo," the girls excitedly went to the guy they were talking about.
What's with that guy? I don't really think na gwapo siya. Bakit halos lahat sinasabing gwapo siya? Totoo ba yung sinabi ni Kem sakin? Am I really stuck kay Rev kaya hindi ko na-aappreciate yung ibang lalaki sa paligid ko?

1st day na ng class and I have to get up early kasi baka ma-traffic ako. I don't wanna be late. Tapos na ko sa phase ng life ko na "The Late Comer" ang title ko. Ayoko na ng bansag na ganun. Di bagay sa beauty ko! Charot lang (pero totoo talagang magada ako noh)!
The moment I entered the school, I saw Rev... the guy they were telling me to check out. And guess what?! Classmate ko sya sa first class ko!! NAKAKALOKA DI BA. Teka, parehas ba kami ng course? Oh please. Wag naman sana! Pag ganon, mas maraming subjects ang magkaklase kami! NO NO NO! Teka, bakit ba ang OA ko?
My other classmates started introducing themselves to me. Exclusive Christian school pinapasukan kong school. And kaunti lang talaga kami dito kaya I would probably meet all my batchmates. Mga 25 lang daw kami.
I was joyfully introducing my self sa other batchmates ko nung may kumalabit sakin...
"Hi, I'm Rev," he said while displaying his gorgeous smile. His teeth are white and perfect. Mapupula ng labi niya, parang naka-lipstick by Kylie. Matangos ang ilong niya, maganda nag kilay, sharp jawline (OHMYGOTCH),at... matangkad siya!
OH MY GOTCH. Seriously, Ysa? Oh please. You are not interested, Robyn Ysabelle! No no no!
"Oh. Hi! I'm Ysabelle, but I'd rather be called 'Ysa'," I tried to keep my cool and replied with a sweet smile.
"I'm taking up BS Entrepreneurship. How about you, ano course mo?" he asked while looking at me na para bang hopeful siya na magka-course kami para may connection kami. Ay sorry na kung makapal mukha ko. Ganito talaga ako.
"I'm taking up AB Integrated Communications and Public Relations. Etong school lang natin nago-offer ng ganung course dito sa Philippines. Sa states kasi yung course na yun," I replied with so much excitement. Gusto ko kasi talaga yung course ko.
Natawa siya sa daldal ko, "I just asked for your course pero inexplain mo pa talaga. Bagay ka nga sa course mo. Madaldal ka. Ang cute mo," he said while chuckling. Teka wait, IS HE FLIRTING WITH ME? Bat ang LANDI ng tawa niya?!
"Sorry naman," natawa ako, "Madaldal kasi talaga ako. I'm sorry kung masyadong marami yung sinabi ko," I shy-fully responded.
"No worries. Anyway, tara sabay na tayo. Would that be alright with you? I think mag-start na class natin," and then sabay kaming nag lakad papasok sa room namin and the class started 5 minutes after we settled on our seats.
"Okay, class. See you next week! Go get your classmates' numbers so that you'll be able to update each other about assignments and some other stuff," and the prof ended with a prayer before going out.
OMG. Okay. So that means, I have to give my number to Uno? WHY ON EARTH?! WHYYY?
"Here. Type in your number," Uno said while handing me his phone.
"Uhhmmm. There you go," I handed it back while forcing my self to smile.
"Uwi ka na?" He asked.
So yeah. I still don't wanna go home, but I still don't have girl friends. Si Tine naman kasi bawal gabihin. Hmmm. I guess it would be okay to hang out with him naman right? Walang malisya.
"I'm planning to stay at the mall muna to chill and just walk around. How about you?" I asked.
"That's great! I am planning to do same thing as well," he excitedly exclaimed. Ito naman si Uno, di man lang nag pakipot at nag pahalata na type niya ako. Charot lang.

Sobrang dami naming napag-usapan. He made me feel so comfortable to the point na I have told him my embarassing moments and some other weird stuff about me. He is fun to be with and I think it's great be friends with him.
Hindi na namin namalayan yung oras. The mall is closing na pala. Nasarapan lang sa kwentuhan.
"Oh. It's time to go home, Ysa. Sinasarhan na tayo ng mall," he looked at me and chuckled.
"We enjoyed the time so much hindi na natin namalayan yung oras," I said while smiling widely.
"Sige. Hatid na kita sa sakayan. San ka ba sasakay ng bus?" He asked.
"Ahh. Dun sa may pa-SM North"
"Pasakayin muna kita bago ako umalis. I have to make sure you get home safe," sabi niya and I could really feel his sincerity.
Then the bus came. I got off and thanked him for his time, "Bye Uno! I had a great time with you!"
"Text me when you get home, okay?" he shouted, the bus was moving forward already.
"Yup! See you tomorrow."
I was smiling the whole ride home. I feel so comfortable with him. Ang bilis lang. Sobrang warm and humorous niyang tao. We can be bestfriends. Para syang boy version ko --nung okay pa ako.
I got home safe and texted him.
