The tires on my car screeched as I finally parked my car after at least twenty tries- I'm never gonna get good at this whole driving thing I thought while rummaging through my car compartments. Where did I put it? Relief rushed through my body as my hand made contact with the cold metal. Pulling the whistle out I smiled.

"Time to go see Esme"

I jogged into the forest in front of me making sure no one had followed me. I sniffed the air, a smile quickly plastered itself onto my face as I looked around with a strange sense of nostalgia. My heartbeat quickened as I saw the large tree ahead of me.

The largest and oldest tree in the forest. My eyes trailed to the tree trunk. A small bit of the wood had been drawn on. Biting on my lower lip I saw my younger self smiling and scribbling down my name next to another. My fingers traced the names smiling at the thought of that silent promise I had made the boy that day. My mind has been pulled out of memory lane by a sudden screech, I turned around to feel the wind smack my face.

A large white creature stood before me it's wings resembling the ones you would find on the back of an Angel. Smiling I got closer to her and placed my hand on her white fur, she leaned into my touch as if she had been waiting for me her whole life. I brushed my hand through her and looked into her red blood-thirsty eyes, her eyes instantly softened.

"Hey Esme" I placed my hand near her snout,

She hummed a quick reply back to me melting under my touch. I couldn't help but laugh. Esme was what you would call a Celestial Vinx, a creature that you would only find in old scriptures wolf-kind had believed that they had gone extinct many years back but we elementals knew that wasn't true.

Celestial Vinx's are known as an elementals only companion. Elemental wolves are born at the same time as their celestial vinx this similarity is what links the spirits of the celestial vinx and the Elemental wolf together. We are destined to be born with them and in turn also die with them, as soon as our life force burns out so does theirs.

"How did you know I was here I didn't even blow the whistle for you to hear me" I stared down at my communication whistle.

Her voice boomed in my mind,

"I could smell you, and your elemental spirits were being so loud that it was hard not to find you"

"ESME WE WEREN'T EVEN BEING LOUD WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?" Ardere and Cora's voices erupted into my mind,

"Your literally being loud right now"

My eye twitched in annoyance as they all continued to fight amongst themselves.

"Why do you guys always fight?! Everytime I bring you guys together you guys always have a disagreement" I sighed in annoyance,

"I'm sorry for their behaviour Diane, all of you apologise right now I can't believe you all!" Erde's small body came into my view, anger plastered onto her face. Her eyes burned with even more anger when she got no reply from everyone.

"APOLOGISE!" The other spirits slightly trembled as they quickly nodded their heads and apologised.

"Erde you didn't have to go so hard on them" I laughed nervously as I scratched the back of my head.
