   "Maybe they forgot the backpack" i say quickly as i pace the floor of the porch.
"Hadley, they left us, they took off without us" Dalton says sourly.
"No! Peter wouldn't do that" i reply quickly.

"Hadley, They're not coming back" Hannah says.
"Then what should we do?" Stacy asks.
"We need to hike down the mountain like Hadley suggested" Dalton suggests.
I hear a gun go off and a flare gets shot up in to the trees.
Not far away.
I hear a yell in pain.
"Peter?!" I murmur.
Out bursts Owen running.
"GET IN THE CABIN" he screams.
Out bursts the creature.
Stacy and Hannah scream in fright.
It was huge.
It was horrifying.

Dalton ushers Hannah and Stacy in to the cabin.
"Hadley!" He hisses.
Owen reaches the stairs and he grabs my arm to push me in the cabin.
The second he grabs my arm the creature leapts and grabs Owen's leg and starts dragging him.
I lunge and grab his arms to stop him from being pulled away to death.
"Dont let go!" I yell to him.

"I wasn't planning on it!" He hisses.
The creature slams in to me while scratching me across my face.
I let out a scream and i fall to the ground.
It gets on top of me and roars.
That's when i see something that glints
In the monster's hand.
It was my necklace but it was impaled in the creatures hand.

"LET HER GO!" Owen yells.
The creature growls and grabs Owen and drags him towards the Forest.
"HADLEY!" Owen yells in pain.
Before the monster reaches the forest he grabs owen and smashs his skull in.
I stifle a sob as i back up.

I turn and run to the cabin.
I close the door right as the monster tries to slam in to it.
"HANNAH" i yell.
Dalton and Stacy help me hold the door closed.

Hannah cleaned the long claw mark on my neck.
"We should go looking for Peter" Dalton says to us.
I push Hannah away.
"He's dead" i tell him sadly.

"How do you know that? He could be alive! In pain somewhere!" He says quickly.
"Dalton... he's dead" i say while a tear runs down my face.

"How do you know?" Stacy asks.
"I saw my necklace in the creatures hand. He had stabbed it, Dalton he isn't coming back" i sob.
"We need to get out of this hell place" Dalton mutters.

I check the window and i still see Owen's body.
"I need to go" Hannah mutters as she walks to the garage.

Stacy looks at me and scowls.
"If only we knew what it was we were being attacked by" she mutters.
I stand up and nod.

I keep my eyes open while Hannah sleeps next to me.
I sit up and i get off the bed.
I walk down the stairs and i look out the window.
"I wouldn't go out there if i was you" Dalton tells me. 

"I'm sorry about Peter" i respond.
"Don't be, i never really understood my brother, he always lived with our grandparents. He acted like we weren't even brothers some times" he explains.
"HADLEY" i hear someone scream from outside.
I stand up from the couch and i walk to the window.
To my astonishment i see Clara stumbling her way towards the cabin.

Then i saw the monster in the shadows.
It was waiting for us to help Clara.
Stacy runs down the stairs and looks out the window.
"Clara!" She murmurs in excitement.
"NO STACY!" I yell as she tries to open the door.
