The Mirror Box game is like the Elevator Game; the purpose of the ritual is to reach another dimension. Stepping into a mirror box is not recommended, but as always... Play at your own risk.
PLAYERS
One principal (also referred as a "witness" in this particular game).One partner.
REQUIREMENTS
Six square metal sheets. The sheets should be taller than the witness, but should not exceed the height of the witness with raised hands. One sheet should be taller than the other five. For the best effects, choose sheets made of graphite or alloy. Six mirrors. One should be slightly larger than the other five, and they must all be as flawless as possible. One light source able to produce bright white or yellow light in all directions without needing to be connected to an outlet. Candles are not recommended due to the possibility of monoxide poisoning. Two or three synchronized alarm clocks. Two ladders. Water.A first aid kid.
INSTRUCTIONS (PART ONE)
1. The method of constructing the mirror box is entirely up to the witness. The only requirements are:
The metal sheets must form four sides, a top, and a bottom.The largest metal sheet must form the top of the box. The mirrors should be on the inside of the box, the largest one on the top. The top must be easily removable. It must be possible to place one ladder on the outside of the box and the other on the inside of the box.The ladders must be easily removable. No outside light should be visible from inside the box.
INSTRUCTIONS (PART TWO)
1. For maximum effect, begin at night during a new moon.
2. Set the alarm clocks for ten minutes after the witness decides to enter the box.
3. Using the ladders, the witness must enter the box.
4. Once inside, the partner must hand the witness the turned off light source.
5. The partner should keep one alarm clock.
6. The blankets, water, and first aid kit must be easily accessible if need for them arises.
7. The partner must ask the witness if they are ready to proceed.
8. Once confirmation is received, the partner must remove the ladder from inside the box. Do NOT proceed if the witness has not given confirmation.
9. Once the box has been sealed, the witness may turn on the light source.
10. Wait and listen.
11. If the witness is ready to leave the box, they may communicate to their partner either verbally or by tapping the side of the box.
12. Once the partner has received the request to leave the box, they must open the box and hand the interior ladder to the witness.
13. If the witness does not communicate that they wish to leave the box and they do not exit when the alarm clock goes off, forcefully remove the witness from the box, even if they protest.
14. If the witness has sustained any injuries while in the box, call for medical help immediately.
NOTES
It is recommended that the witness wears simple clothing while playing this game. Do not wear any jewelry, bring any food, religious items, or weapons into the box.Do not open the box from anywhere but the top. Do not remove the sides or bottom and do not break the box. The witness must NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES remain in the box after the ten minute time limit is up. If the witness protests about leaving the box or claims that leaving it would be more dangerous than remaining in the box, do NOT listen to them. If you ever meet a witness, do not believe anything they say about the mirror box. Be wary if they claim that nothing happened or if they recommend that you try it for yourself. Do not ask where or when the antumbra meets.
