The Hooded Man ritual is similar to the Elevator Game in a sense. Do NOT attempt this ritual in a state of anxiety, nervousness, or agitation.

One.
REQUIREMENTS
Two black cords or ropes measuring exactly half a meter in length. An old rotary telephone. Matches or a lighter. A watch.Salt.
INSTRUCTIONS (PART ONE)
1. Before beginning this ritual, perform a cleansing ritual in the location in which you plan on calling your cab. Burning sage or spreading salt or ash at your front door are recommended.
2. Shut all the doors, close all the windows, and draw all the curtains.
3. Turn off all of the lights as well as any electronic devices. Put the black cords and the match or lighter near the rotary phone.
4. Remove any power or religious objects from your person, but keep your watch with you.
INSTRUCTIONS (PART TWO)
1. Begin at night.
2. Sit down at the telephone and count to 13. Without taking the telephone off of its hook, dial the number 20496888.
3. Tie one cord around the telephone's handset. Lift the handset by the cord only and then dial the number 25515823.
4. Count to 13 and set the handset down, but do not put it back in its cradle. Speak the following words into the receiver: "Hello? I need a cab."
5. Untie the cord from the handset and replace it with the second one, making sure to secure it tightly. Burn the first cord as soon as you possibly can.
6. Look outside your window. If you have done steps 1-5 correctly, you will see a black cab waiting on the curb. Exit the building, locking the door behind you, and climb into the cab's empty back seat.
7. Lock the cab door and go to sleep.
INSTRUCTIONS (PART THREE)
1. When you awaken, use your watch to check the time. If the watch reads any time other than 3:30 AM, exit the cab and return to your home within two minutes. Proceed to the ending of the ritual.
2. If your watch reads 3:30 AM, go back to sleep.
3. When you wake up for the second time, you will find yourself in the cab with a hooded driver driving on a highway.
4. When you are ready to end your ride, lean close to the hooded man and whisper slowly and deliberately: "I have reached my destination." You will fall asleep again and reawaken in your starting location.
INSTRUCTIONS (PART FOUR)
1. Once you have returned to your starting location, sit before the telephone and dial the number 200082.
2. Use the black cord to lift the handset, set it down, and recite the following words into the receiver: "Thank you for the ride."
3. Untie the black cord from the telephone and burn it, then bury the ashes of both cords in the ground. Scatter salt over the burial site.
4. Perform a cleansing ritual.
NOTES
DO NOT proceed if you feel threatened or stalked. DO NOT speak to or look at any other passengers in the cab. Doing so can result in fatal consequences. You can allow the cab ride to go on for as long as you like, but the longer you ride, the harder it may be to escape the landscapes that the cab is passing. Should you wish to return to your own world, it is not advised to allow the ride to go on for undue amounts of time. It is unknown what happens when the cab stops, but if you wish to find out, you may... but do not expect to return to your own world when it does. DO NOT panic.
