The date went perfectly amazing, she loved every part of it. But if you ask me? My favourite part was seeing how beautiful her smile looked with the reflecting light of the moon, the fact that only I can get to see this type of beauty and how special it is. When she noticed me, gawking at her, she laughed, leaned in and kissed me, softly and with so much meaning. After a while, my parents arrived and we understood that it was her moment to leave, meaning her parents were waiting for her now that mine had left. She said her farewells to all my family members and I led her through the door to meet her car outside.

"I won't be seeing you this weekend, am I?" I asked, pouting.

"It's unlikely to happen, babe. I have this huge exam to study for and you know I'm a procrastinator." She answered, lowering her head. "But I'll call you tomorrow."

"Liar. If you procrastinate and get straight A's, imagine what you'd get if you studied like I do?" I laughed, just thinking that there isn't actually higher than an A. "Call me when you get home AND tomorrow." I added.

"Deal." She got on her tiptoes and snaked her arms around my neck, pressing her lips against mine one more time. That was until we legit heard a knock, that sounded like a freaking punch, on the window. "Yeah, that's your mom telling me to go, without actually doing so. So... see you later, Di." She blew a kiss and entered her car.

The weekend passed by quickly seeing that nothing that important actually happened, I had a stay-home-with-the-family type of weekend, we went to the bowling alley, then in and out, ending up having a big ass karaoke party in my living room. Then Sunday came by and my Sunday depression came back, like it does every weekend, even with Lauren's help FaceTiming me while I did my homework, the thought of another week of school was just permanent, I know I'm dramatic.

"Babe, stop pouting. It's another week, you'll have many more Mondays, so just get over all this!" She said, between laughs, apparently, my sadness was funny to her "Well, Di. I'll make it better for you, okay? How about this, tomorrow breakfast at Starbucks before school and the girls and us two will have a massive lunch. How does that sound?"

"It's getting better. Add in a few kisses and my sadness goes out of the window!" I said, laughing now as well.

"That was the base of the plan, it's always included." And then, excuse me for a second, she had the audacity to wink at me. "But you knew that already, didn't you?"

"Stop winking at me, I swear." I rolled my eyes. "You look so sexy when you do that and I can't do shit about it from here."

She sent me a kiss and told me she had to go to bed after talking for a few more minutes. I stayed a bit late just so I could finish homework in time for the next week to run more smoothly.

"Dinah! Get up, you lazy ass." Yeah, that's how you know it's another Monday and the beginning of the week. That got me grumpy, already. "Lauren has just arrived, so hurry up!"

I got out of bed and took a rapid shower, then got dressed. When I came down, I saw Lauren sitting down at the table drinking a cup of milk. "So, Lauren is telling me you're not eating breakfast here? Why didn't you tell me? I made pancakes counting on you." My mom said. "In fact, I made counting with you both, so imagine how many there are..."

"I'm so sorry, Milika. We both forgot... We'll make sure the story doesn't repeat itself." Lauren apologized, being so nice. "But we can always take ours to Camila, I'm sure she'll have stomach for that and more, maybe Ally can eat them too."

"Yeah, we're sorry, mom. I didn't mean to forget it, I just stayed up late doing some homework and it legit slipped my mind. But I'm sure Camila will love them." I said, hugging her. "What do you say?"

"You're lucky you have Lauren here and that I love her like daughter or else I would make you eat them all. But yea, I'll put them in a tupperware and you give some to Camila and Ally, too. With the amount I made, maybe Normani will want some too." She scolded, while putting the said pancakes in the boxes.

"You're the best. I love you."

"Bye, Milika." Lauren said and then went in and hugged my dearest mother. Once outside; "I love your mom, I swear, she's the best. Mine would've make us stay and eat it anyways." She leaned on her car.

"Puh—lease. If it weren't for you, I would be stuffing myself inside. She's just loves you more, than she does her actual daughter." She opened her car to get inside. "Where are you going?"

"To start the car? We're going out for breakfast but I don't want to be late."

"And aren't you forgetting a little something?" I said, pointing towards myself, while raising an eyebrow. She smiled, got around the car to meet my body, that was leaning against the window. Her arms snaked around my neck, in that lovely way that she always does, and she leaned in, kissing me lightly but with so much affection.

"Now, that's enough. Please, babe, you know I hate tardiness."

"Okay, okay. You're lucky you're adorable." I gave in and we both got in the car.

After a really nice breakfast at Starbucks, we drove to school and met our friends.

"Hello Laurinah. You sure took your time today, the bell will ring in a few minutes!" Camila said, as soon as we caught up to them.

"Well, if we give you food, will you stop with the Laurinah thing?" I tried to bribe her, this Laurinah calling was getting on my nerves.

"Yes! Did Milika make those??" she asked getting excited already. I gave her the box. "I'll stop, for the rest of the week."

"Better than nothing, besides I want pancakes too!" Ally called out on Camila. "Come on, sweetie, share some of that heavenly food."

"Save some for me too, you assholes!"

"Well, good morning to you all, too. I'm good, you? Oh, nice to know." That was Lauren, sarcastically, having her own monologue while the others eat- no, devoured the pancakes.

"Don't worry babe, you got all my attention." I said, winking and placing my hands on her waist. "How about we get back to what we were doing this morning? You know well that wasn't even near enough. The bell hasn't rung yet."

She smiled and leaned in and, imagine our luck, just when our lips were about to touch- "Hey, love birds. That's the ring that obliges you to go to class. You don't want to be late, Lo." Camila said, smirking, while Lauren smiled at me, kissed my cheek and ran away to get to class.

"You're really stupid, sometimes. Did you know that?" I said. "I hate you, Camila."

"No, you don't. You're just as whipped as you are needy." She said, then she ran away, just as I started to chase her. Even though, what she said was entirely true. I am whipped.
