Colby's POV

I woke up to my alarm it was still dark out it took a second to remember why I was getting up so early but after I did a wave of sadness it me like as if a brick wall came down on me, I sat up stretched and went to the bathroom I looked In the Mirror once again I thought I looked disgusting. I mean why else would Brennen cheat on me I'm gross, fat and ugly everything Corinna isn't she's beautiful unlike me. I turned the light off and walked down stairs nobody's awake because nobody in this house wakes but until like 3 PM besides for Elton.

I stood in the hallway and just stared I looked over the place just like when we first got it, I will miss everyone a lot but hopefully I'll be back, i sighed and ran my fingers through my messy and tangled hair "this is it" I whispered to myself I took a deep shaky breath in and out.

I walked back up stairs and grabbed the outfit I left out last night which was a grey ripped up shirt and black skinny jeans, I put on my clothes and walked to the bathroom brushed my hair and putting it in a beanie because it's kinda ya know terrible, i walked out and sat on the edge of my bed hands shaky and sweaty.

Okay this is real this is happening I'm going home, should I do something? So people know where I went to they don't call 911 or something. Maybe I should text it in the groupchat between us all? No. Leave a note? Yeah I think I'll leave a note on my door.

I grabbed a piece of paper and a sharpie that was on the table next to me and began writing

I finished writing and looked at the paper "okay" I said to myself I grabbed some tape and taped it to the outside of my door, I looked at the time 6:42 shit shit shit my flight is at 7:15. I grabbed my suitcase and ran down stairs I was half way out the front down when I just stopped and stared "goodbye" I whispered and shut the door. I put my suitcase in my car and drove to the airport the drive wasn't too long but the quiet music on the radio and the cool air was nice just like a movie.

I got to the airport and basically immediately got on the plane,
I put my headphones in and played music mostly calm music, I ended up falling asleep all through the plane ride which I wasn't meaning to do.

After I got off the plane I realized I had no way of getting home and I want to surprise my family, how could I call to come get me umm oh Nate he'll do I guess, that sounded mean I didn't mean it like that, I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and searched for nates number which I found And clicked call

Hello? Nate said on the other line "hey dude uh can I ask u a favor?" I said in a slightly high pitched voice "and what is that, mind you I can't do much for u I'm still stuck in Kansas" he said chuckling "yeah that's the thing, I'm kinda at the airport, I'm in Kansas too and I need a ride" I said giggling a little, I heard him gasp on the other line "OMG OMG OMG YAYAY DUDE IVE MISSED U SO MUCH" he said really happy which made me laugh "I've missed u too bro" I said happily "yeah yeah I'll be there soon, is sam with you?" He asked me because sam is always with me when we come back to Kansas "nope just me" I said popping the P "okay well I'll text you when I'm there talk to ya soon" He said like he was in a rush "okay yeah byeeeee" I said happily I hung up after that, I don't think I've been this exited to be back in Kansas I mean everyone is real here and everyone is friendly unlike LA I mean I love LA so much but sometimes it's nice being back in a small place
