Stranded in Arendelle

"What!?" The captain exclaimed. "This can't be true! I just had this ship repaired!" He was looking at the broken masts.

"What do we do now?" Hans asked him trying to calm the captain down. "Pardon me, Your Highness." The captain explained. "But we'll have to stay here for at least five days before we could leave."

Hans thought about it for a while. Then he sighed. "At least I'll have more time off from my brothers."

So he watched the carpenters and other people come and start repairing the boat. It was certainly going to take a few days.

Night was falling and he needed to lodge in somewhere. He couldn't sleep in the ship because of the sawing and hammering going on. He walked to every inn asking for a room to stay in. But curses! All the inns were full.

Kai just happened to have passed by and saw Hans. "Why Your Highness!" He exclaimed. "Shouldn't you have boarded the ship already?"

"The ship is under repair, sir." Hans kindly replied. "The captain told me that we'll be stuck here for at least five days."

"Why! You must have a place of rest, Your Highness! Come to the castle and take one of the rooms!" Kai urged Hans.

Feeling relieved, Hans accepted the offer. "But sir, I thought that the gates were never opened."

"It doesn't matter, Your Majesty. You can stay there."

So Hans followed Kai to the castle. They didn't enter through the huge gate, they entered a smaller one only used by the staff. Kai led him to a guest room and made sure that Hans was comfortable.

"If you need anything, Your Highness, the servants will attend you."

"Thank you." Hans replied with a sincere smile. "But please, call me Hans."

Kai smiled back and left the room. As soon as he left, Hans fell asleep. The castle was silent.
