Chapter Song: Forever Young One Direction

~December 2010~

CIANNA POV

"Imagine five years from now, both of you are going to be like 'One what?'!" My boyfriend, Angel teased.

"You're just jealous that Cianna is drawing another guy!" Marie, my cousin, teased back as we switched colors again. I stared at the paper again and motioned for Marie to stop.

"Something is wrong," I told her. The shades of gray dots on the paper didn't seem to bring Zayn to life.

"More like missing," Marie answered as she cocked her head. "His hair needs to be darker."

"Right!" I giggled. I grabbed a black sharpie from Marie's hand and began making more dots

"You do realize Zayn Martin might never see this right?" Angel laughed. I rolled my eyes at hearing Angel get the last name wrong, again.

"Malik." I emphasized as I finished dotting. "It's Zayn Malik."

"Whatever. How much time have you spent on this?"

"That doesn't matter," I handed the paper to Marie to draw the finishing touches. She opened her color splattered book bag and soon the floor was covered in watercolor trays, brushes, acrylic paint, and glitter. Marie then got out her southwest salad from McDonald's. Angel and I exchanged confusing looks to each other. Marie finished the little lettuce that was left over before leaving the room. She came back with the salad tray clean and full of water.

"The salad trays are perfect for paint water!" Marie explained to us giggling. "And it's better for my wallet and the environment because I'm recycling."

"Why did you only bring white and black stuff?" Angel asked as I poured a generous amount of white on the tray lid.

"Angel, everyone is using color. Our entry has to be different in order to win the contest for a meet and greet with One Direction."

"What if someone is also creating a black and white entry?" Angel teased again as he leaned closer.

"That is why we're using glitter!" Marie pointed towards the shades of gray of glitter. Angel tilted his head back in laughter. I still couldn't believe that I was his girlfriend. I was the quiet, artsy girl was in a relationship with Angel who was the complete opposite.

"Also," I chimed in as I poured a spoonful of black paint on top of the white paint. "We are using different mediums in our art."

"Okay, okay." Angel smiled. "How can I help you crazy directioners?"

"Mix this really good in order to create a lovely shade of gray." I handed him the lid and the end of a paintbrush. I reached under Marie's bed for our art junk box and pulled out the cleanest test tubes I could find. "Here," I gave the test tube over to Angel.
