I couldn't sleep last night I was to scared. I knew one of my mothers friends was over & I didn't wanna wake up to some man on top of me so I stayed up just looking at the wall. It's been like this ever since my father left my mom. She can't leave this bum dudes alone or drop the alcohol smh. Its sad but I stil love her & home she gets better.
5:58 a.m
Right on time my mother's "friend" was heard leaving out. His name was Billy *shivers*. I can't stand him, but I'm happy he leaves before i have to get ready for school I don't want him "accidentally" walking in on me taking a shower.
I slide outta bed carefully because my mother's room is right across from mines & i dont want to wake her cause I know she recovering from last night & if woken it want be pretty for me.
I creep to our only bathroom that works which is downstairs. My mother wont fix the upstairs bathroom cause she said its to much money & we aint rich.
I took a quick shower careful not to get my hair wet cause mom broke the hairdryer trying to throw it at me. So my big curly fro just gonna have to be everywhere today
I jumped out once i was done & wrapped the towel around me & quickly ran back to my room where I put on undergarments & looked for something to wear.
I dont have much cloths really just a few hand-me-downs. I grabbed a tank top & some sweat pants with my beat up red converse. I grabbed my daddy's grey Mississippi State hoodie & slide it on.
6:20 a.m
School starts at 7:40 & it takes me 15 minutes to get there on my bike so i gotta head out now not only to get away from home but I would hate to be late for my first day of senior year. I grabbed everything & make sure my mother is still sleeping & head out.
Skip to arriving at school
After putting my bike away I walk inside & see the hall are empty which i expect cause most of everyone is outside catching up with friends, must be nice.
Anyways I get my stuff outta my locker & make my way to first period which happens to be AP Math what fun*note sarcasm*. I hope this whole day fly by.
Just when I walk around the coner some stuck their foot out & trippen me. All my book flew out my hand & I hurt my wrist trynna catch myself. I could just hear people laughing & my face start to heat up I could feel the tears coming.
"Why don't you watch your step Jade that fall looked pretty nasty" said a sweet voice.
Now to some it might be sweet, but to me it was the devil himself speaking or herself for this matter. That devil is Jordan Sky & she is the Queen of Buster Back high school, but to me she's just another bully.
"You just gonna stay on your knees like your whore of a mother all day sweet Jade?" she said walking around me.I could here her litte sidekicks laughing as i gathered all my books & papers.
