         I have always loved my family. I still do don't get me wrong, it's just that something feels off. Like there is something hidden deep with in my family. Not like we're some supernatural creatures or anything. Maybe just something small. I don't know. I won't be able to figure it out any time soon. I mean I'm only 13. I have my whole life ahead of me to figure it out. It's also not like I can just ask my parents because they will probably deny anything I ask or say. Now all this thinking has got me hungry. After all it is around dinner time. Maybe I'll go see what mom is making.

Knocking myself out of my thoughts I start to head downstairs. As I do I look at all the pictures on the wall lining the stairwell. We look like a big happy family and we are. Every year we take a big fun family photo but I have noticed every year that mom and dad look sad like the family photo isn't right. Not wanting to dwell on it on a empty stomach, I ignore my curiosity for once and start my journey downstairs once again. Passing the living room I notice dad and Chris watching baseball. Their favorite sport in the world. As their cheers fade away from my ears I end up in the kitchen. I stop in the doorway for a minute and take in the scene. Mom is swaying her hips at the stove to chantje, my mama's favorite song. Becca is at the table singing along and peeling potatoes, while Lissa was dancing around the kitchen stealing scraps of food behind mom's back. Even though I'm sure she knew what Lissa was doing.

    " Hello mija"mama greeted as she noticed me at the doorway. Taking her eyes away from the food for a second before turning back around.

     "Hola mama" I reply as I head towards the table going to sit next to Becca. "What are you guys making?"

"Ropa vieja" mom said with her spanish accent sticking out."now get out and stop distracting my workers" she jokes as she playfully whoops me with a dish rag.

   Holding up my hands and slowly backing away." Ok. Ok. I'm going" I laugh out. Peeking my head around the corner I say" oh and Becca's not really peeling potatoes, she's messaging Ben".

"SOPHIA" I hear Becca yell as I run away, knowing that if I stayed I'd be tackled to the ground. Making my way back to the living room I sit next to dad on the couch.

" What's up munchkin" dad says not taking his eyes off of the tv but still managing to ruffle my hair.

"Not much. Oh the Cubs are playing. What's the score?" I ask them as I start watching the game with them. What can I say, I'm a sports girl.

"10-6" Chris stated, reaching over me for the chips on the table. After watching the game for about thirty more minutes, the door bell went off. Knowing no one else would get it as they were all busy I went to open it. When I opened the door there was no one there except a picture frame on the mat. Picking it up I realized it was a picture of my mom in the hospital with a baby and my siblings and dad around them. Wondering how someone would have a picture of this I walked inside. As I walk towards the kitchen with the picture I notice something off. In all the other pictures of me as a baby I'm so much bigger. The baby in this looks like a pre-mature baby.

" who was at the door mija?" Mama asked as I walked into the kitchen where she was putting food in the oven.

" no one, but there was the picture on the mat" I said showing her it. Mom takes it out of my hands and suddenly she started sobbing. Not just a few tears, no I mean full on sobbing. Not knowing what to do or why she's crying I look to Lissa, who comes rushing over and leads mom to a seat for her to sit in.

" Sophia go get dad, Rebecca get some tissues. Mama what's going on?" Melissa demands. As I basically run out of the kitchen I can hear Melissa start sobbing also.

  "Dad, moms freaking or in the kitchen. I don't know why and I think Lissa is too" I rush out as I stand in between the tv and my dad and brother. They both get up and rush towards the kitchen. Following behind them I see dad take mom into his arms while Chris takes Lissa. It took a lot of soothing words and time for them to calm down. " umm.. guys what's going on?" I cautiously ask.

  "Tom. Tom. It's her look. Look" my mom told my dad and shoving the picture in his face, while completely ignoring me.

~~~~~~~~~~~Becca POV~~~~~~~~~~
  I watch as tears slowly slip out of my fathers eyes. Fia and I share a look of confusion as it seems everybody but us knows what's going on. "Ok guys. Why are y'all crying?" I ask as I take a step forward and in front of everyone. Nobody seems to want to talk so I continue." Why are you saying it's her? Who is her?" Dad and mom share a quick look and dad loudly clears his throat.
  "Umm. Rebecca. Sophia. There is something that you don't know about. Well before Sophia was born we had another daughter..." dad states and let's a few tears slip.
