His breathing became uneven. Slowly he turned around. 'Iwa-Chan?' Iwaizumi smirked. "It's been a long time" he started. "What?... When?" , Oikawa stuttered. Iwaizumi busted out in laughter. "Hahahaha, I never thought I'd miss your dumb ass face". "Iwa-Chan!!" Oikawa said annoyed. "Okay, okay.." he walked toward Oikawa and smiled again "I got here this morning. Sorry I didn't message you. I was beat. Well it was worth it. That expression made my day" he said while he placed a hand on Oikawa's shoulder. "You should have called this morning then!" he pulled his best friend into an embrace. "You're so mean Iwa-Chan". "And you're still annoying as ever" Iwaizumi retorted returning the hug. "Aah Tooru-kun you're here!". It was Iwaizumi's mother. "Sorry for not giving you a heads up on Hajime's return" she said while putting a hand on her cheek. Oikawa narrowed his eyes and she started laughing. "Like mother like son" Oikawa whispered looking over at Iwaizumi, who raised an eyebrow in return. "Come with me" she continued.."you too dear". She led us into the kitchen and handed me some snacks. "Be a doll and serve these to the guests for me? I hired a catering service but they are running a bit late". Oikawa smiled "No problem!". Iwaizumi picked up a tray with drinks and followed me outside.

After serving the guests until the workers arrived we caught up on what we missed out. Iwaizumi had planned on returning a while ago. He just loved messing with me. We talked about the changes we would make to my father's company and if we planned on firing people that didn't suit the job. He told me about his graduation night. He had gone to celebrate with his classmates. I told him how things were here at home and what had changed for the better or for the worst. I also told him about our old classmate and the business she started. "Maybe you can buy all those pretty girls some flowers and help her out" he said while he put down his glass. "What girls?" Just as Oikawa asked that a girl in a white dress shirt walked to their table. "Hello can I get you something?" she said with a smile. She was from the catering service. Oikawa smiled "No we're good" he waved his hand. She bowed and returned to her work. Iwaizumi raised an eyebrow. "Ow come on Iwa-Chan" he laughed. "Dude you're a chick magnet" Iwaizumi continued. Oikawa looked at his glass "That isn't necessarily a good thing". A wrinkle appeared between Iwaizumi's brows. "What do you..". "Don't mind it" Oikawa cut him off. "Do you still play volley-ball??" he asked excitedly avoiding the question. Iwaizumi sighed knowing that if he tried to bring the subject up again Tooru would just ignore it. He was always like that. He'd bring it up again sooner or later though. "Of course" he answered. "Wanna play some volleyball?" Oikawa asked. "Maybe later". "WHAT!" Oikawa pouted. "Tsk, we're at a party Shitty-kawa". Oikawa acted like he was upset "So mean Iwa-Chan!" but in reality he was overjoyed to see his friend again. He leaned back into his chair looking at the ongoing party. "Hey Iwa-Chan?" he started. "Hmm?". "Please don't ever leave again" he continued. Iwaizumi looked at him from the corner of his eye. "You're as hopeless as ever".
