Chapter 32- My Guardian

Your POV

Just then as if summoned, a shadow pushed the guy pinning me to the wall away from me. My knees collapsed as I watched the shadow knocked the stranger unconscious. The shadow then ran to me in a hurry and hugged me tightly.

"Everything is alright, (Y/N). You're safe now that you're with me" his voice... oh how I missed it so much.

"J-Jungkook" I sobbed in his arm as he rubbed my back, comforting me.

"The police are coming. Don't worry. I got you" That's when I heard the police's sirens going on. I was lght headed but not light enough for me to faint in his arms. I still hate him for cheating on me behind my back with Scarlet remember?

After telling the police what happened, I decided to just walk away.

"W-wait!" Jungkook said hastily and grabbed m wrist but I yanked my arm away.

"What do you want Jungkook?" I asked as he pouted a bit.

"Aren't you atleast going to say 'thank you for saving my life, Jungkook'? You DID call for my help" he said as my face turned red. Thank the dark streets because Jungkook can't see that.

"Why are you even there?" I said without stuttering and we continued walking, keeping a 5 meter distance.

"We are neighbors...? Meaning I go the same way you do?" He said as I snickered.

"That's new. I thought you'll be at your new girlfriend's house, grinding on her" I said while rolling my eyes.

"Are we talking about Scarlet noona?" He asked as I nodded, silence has overcome me.

"Is that what you think about me? Some... International Playboy?" He asked as I whipped my head around with an ugly grimace stuck in my face. We were infront of my apartment dorm but my unnies weren't inside because they need to overwork which is sad and depressing, knowing I'll be sleeping alone.

"Well, AREN'T you?" I asked, getting slightly irritated.

"No. I am not" he said as I laughed.

"You're not? Then what did I heard you say when we were at Boracay?" I asked and he furrowed his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and opened the door and got inside as fast as I could but being the Golden Maknae, he was strong enough to pull the door open. He walked inside as he closed the door, not bothering to open the light.

"Explain" he said as I cleared my throat.

"'Yah! I'm supposed to be the international playboy of this group'" I said in an annoying mimicking voice.

"You still remembered that?" He asked as I sighed, hot tears building up in my eyes due to the irritation, anger and sadness I'mve been keeping.

"Yes, Jungkook. I still remembered that. I remembered every single word you said and I remembered everything you did to me. The first time you talked to me, the first time you flirted with me, the first time you joked with me, the first time you hugged me, the first time you tucked my hair behind my ear... the first time you told me that you love me" I said with my tears finally falling from my face. His face softens but I didn't care.

"(Y/N)..." he said as I shook my head.

"I remembered everything because I love you even until now but... why go with Scarlet unnie? Am I not as talented as her? Am I not as worth it as her? Am I just trash that you kept in your pocket beforw throwing it in the trash can? Did you even loved me or did you just used me to get over that stupid bi-" that's the time I got cut off. That's the time the world stopped turning. That's the time that time itself has froze. That's the time I got shocked. That's the time when my lips met his own soft ones. Tears fell from my eyes as I kissed him back. My lips molding with his as he pulled me closer. I missed these lips. Too bad they aren't mine anymore. They are Scarlet's.

He pulled away, still holding me close, and stared into my eyes. He was crying.

"Don't say that you are being used because of me getting over Scarlet. Infact, I don't even love her" he said, dropping the honorifics, which shocked me.

"W-wha-" I was cut off when he started speaking again.

"She told me that if I was to be with her, she wouldn't hurt you but she did. That man who almost rap-"

"Kill" I corrected him as he scrunched his nose, making him look like an angry bunny. Oh wait. He is.

"That man who almost killed you was sent by Scarlet so that she and I could be together" he said as my eyes widened. He hesitantly let me go as we sat on the couch.

"How did you know?" I asked as he looked down, playing with my fingers.

"I heard it. I heard their conversation during the shooting" he said seriously as I began crying again.

"Yah. Why are you crying?" He asked as he held me tightly in his arms.

"I'm scared..." I honestly said. I've never been this scared my entire life.

"I know but don't worry. I'll be here to protect you" he said as I faced him. I noticed how close we are at each other. I was sitting on his lap as he held on to my waist.

"R-really?" I asked hesitantly as he nodded, hugging me tighter.

"I don't want anyone touching you because I still love you" he said it. With those words, I feel so secure.

"I... I love you too" I said and connected my lips with him again as he immediately kissed me back.

My hand was traveling up to his hair as I tugged a few strands and playing with it. His hand travelled down to my back as he slipped a hand under my skirt. The kissing turned into a make out session and when we were about to deepen the kiss, the lights opened as we pulled away from each other.

"U-uh... are we interrupting something?" oh shoot.

"U-UNNIES?!?!" I was shocked, confused, flushed, I don't know what to feel.

"We'll just... go to our room" Jinyu said as they all scattered towards their room. Jungkook and I looked at each other then looked away with red faces. I led him to the door but he stopped.

"That day when you saw me and Scarlet together, who are you with? And why are you so close to that Baekhyun guy?" He asked as I let out a little giggle.

"The guy who's with me and that 'Baekhyun guy' are the same person. He's my best friend!" I said as he held his chest and held both of my shoulders.

"Don't scare me like that. He might take you away from me anytime without me knowing. What will I do after that?" he said and I smiled cutely.

"I don't know what will you do?" I said cutely as he pinched my cheeks.

"Aigoo. You're too precious" he said as I giggled. He shared another passionate kiss before saying goodnight to each other. I smiled brightly before preparing for bed and sleeping.
