Chapter five: Sick

Boruto P.O.V

"We're home!" I heard moms voice... I was about to get up but suddenly I feel soooo tired and my body is heavy, and for some reason I was sweating.

"Boruto, are you in here?" Mom knock on my door and went inside "Boruto? Boruto!" Mom ran besides me and place his hand on my forehead. "You're burning!" She exclaimed. "M-mom..." I managed to say, my voice hoarse.

"It's alright sweety, I'm here." Mom kissed my forehead and smile. "Mom, what's going on?" Himawari asked as she stands in the doorway. "Your brother is sick, can you stay with your brother for a while. I'll just call your father." Himawari nodded.

Heh, I bet dad is not coming just because I'm sick. I thought then I cough harshly. "Big brother, are you okay?" Himawari asked me worried, as she held my hand. "Y-yeah I'm f-fine." I manage to say in a low voice.

A moment later.......................

"What happened!?" Someone barged in my room and that makes my head throb, wait, I recognize that voice... It was dad's. So he did came huh... "Dad!" Himawari hugged him. "Hello hima-chan." Dad greeted and pats her head. "Hima! Can you help me prepare dinner?" Mom called from downstairs. "Okay mom!" Then himawari went downstairs.

"Boruto, how are you feeling?" Dad asked and pats my forehead. "You're burning, wait a sec. I'll be right back." Then after awhile I felt a few taps on my forehead with a wet cloth.

"D-dad how a-about w-work?" I asked. "I leave a shadow clone on my office so it won't be a problem." he said and smile. "Naruto, here's boruto's soup." Mom approach Dad who is sitting beside my bed. "It's fine, I'll take it from here."

Mom nod her head and went donwstairs. "Bolt, can you sit up?" I tried to sit up but failed. "Here, let me help you." Then he help me sit up. "Here boruto, you need to eat so you'll recover fast, okay." Right now Naruto is feeding boruto .

Boruto don't have the strength to talk so he'll just have to obey whatever he says, for now at least. As he gulp the soup he cough and naruto soothes his back as Boruto coughed. "Here." Naruto hand him some water.

"Boruto, drink slowly." I did what dad said and drank slowly. Dad feed me for a couple of times until I finish my soup. "You'll start to feel better soon enough." he smile then I start to feel sleepy so I close my eyes.

Naruto P.O.V

"Boruto." I called his name as he cough, I'm starting to get worried. His fever gotten worse, "Boruto." I tried calling his name again and this time he opens his eyes. "Drink some water." I said and help him sit up.

After he drink some water I lay him back down and take off his shirt that was soaked in sweat then change it into clean ones.

Then I take the towel and make it wet again then put it on his forehead. And I repeat this over and over until boruto's fever goes down.

"Hope you'll get better soon, son" I said but I know that he can't hear me cause his asleep but that's okay.
