Chapter nine: Betrayal

Third person P.O.V

When naruto arrived at the konaha's gate, hinata and sakura was at the front gate of konoha and by their surprised sasuke is with the . "Sakura-chan!" Naruto called and sakura's attention was on naruto and she saw boruto unconscious on naruto's back.

Hinata and Sakura ran to Naruto's side. "Boruto! Is he okay!?" Hinata asked as she held her son in her arms. "Let me take a look." Sakura looked at the wound on boruto's shoulder.

"Don't worry, he'll be fine but the wound on his shoulder needs to be treated." Sakura said. "Then we should be going at the hospital." Hinata said and Sakura nodded.

"Sakura, please take care of my son, I have to take care of that guy for a moment but I'll catch up with you as soon as possible." Naruto point at the man in sasuke's shoulder. "You'd better be." Sakura said then Hinata and Sakura went to the hospital.

The man slowly open his eyes but quickly closed them as he felt like his ribs cracks as he breath then he cough blood. "So, you're awake" sasuke said in monotone and walked up to him. "Heh, sasuke uchiha is here?" The man murmured.

"Hey! Who are you?!" Naruto asked seriously. "What do you want with my son!?" He added. "Calm down Naruto, your anger won't do anything." Shikamaru said but Naruto couldn't helped it. "Tell us, who wants boruto and why are you after him?" Shikamaru asked calmly.

"O-orochimaru... He w-wants the boy's chakra." The man answered, this shocked shikamaru and naruto. "So, orochimaru is betraying us." sasuke said.

"Lets not jump to conclusions first, I know orochimaru is a bad guy but he's on our side now. We can't afford to believe what he says." Naruto defend orochimaru, though he is still worried.

"If you don't believe then that's your problem, he'll only take advantage to that." He smirked then he bit his tongue and he suddenly fell. "W-what happened?" Asked naruto.

"I guess he just killed himself." shikamaru said as he checked the man's pulse, there was no pulse. Shikamaru called the medical team and ordered to examine him. "I'll have to catch up with sakura and hinata, I'll see you guys later." Naruto said and immediately gone off.

"Hinata!" Naruto called and hinata turned and saw her husband. "Naruto-kun." Naruto hugged Hinata and Himawari is with Hinata right now. "How's boruto?" Naruto asked, worried. "Sakura hasn't come out yet." Hinata said worriedly.

Minutes had past, sakura went to hinata and naruto. "Sakura, how's boruto?" Hinata asked. "He's going to be fine, you can go inside now." She said. They ran where boruto is and saw him awake. "Boruto!" Hinata came running to his son and hugged him tightly. "M-mom...can't....b-breath" boruto said.

"Oh, sorry" his mom quickly let him go as he catch some air. "Onii-chan!" Himawari ran to his brother's side and hugged him. "Boruto, are you alright now?" Naruto asked and walk closer. "Y-yeah" Boruto said as he starts to remember what exactly happen.
