the nexus; why didn't he go back further in time & save his nephew & family (brother & sister-inlaw)? he would still have had plenty of time to stop the baddie (soren/saron/or something?) & would not (necessarily) have needed to bother james t. kirk. :p
OR he & kirk could have come out & different points in space-time... (& done lots of things differently...)
