Player walked to tree. the tree looked old. it had no leaves but it was still standing. Player looked curiously at it. Toriel looked at player from afar. she seemed surprised. "Child?" she called out. player flinched a little when the silence was broken. Seeing Toriel again they got excited. They giggled holding their arms out like a child would. Toriel approached them with a smile giving them a warm embrace "it was very dangerous to do all of those puzzles alone child" Toriel checked player for wounds before standing and once again taking their hand and guiding them inside of a tidy home.

Player looked up at toriel and smiled. Toriel showed them their room. Toriel let them get comfortable so she closed the door leaving them in there. Player took off her black boots before crawling onto the bed. The music box played a soft tune. Player laid down yawning. They looked at the music box and soon was lulled off to sleep.

When they woke up the music box had finished its tune. They sat up rubbing their eyes. They hopped out of the bed and walked to the door. The tried to open it but it was stuck or locked. They jiggled the knob and then let out a light sigh. They looked at the room noticing a new smell. Cinnamon. Interesting. they looked for the source of the smell as there eyes traveled the room until they settled on a pie on the desk. Player smiled lightly walking over. the reached out to touch it as they heard a slam in the other room. They spun back to the door with furrowed brows. they were both confused and concerned. they went back to the door pulling at the door knob desperately. it swung open as they fell to the floor. they winced but quickly scrambled to their feet and sprinted to the room as they whined "Mom?"

Toriel looked up at the worried face. she smiled picking up her glasses and some fallen books which explained the thud. player looked relived as they watched. they walked over and helped her. they helped putting them back. toriel then sat down with a book. player decided to leave her alone. they explored the house.

Toriels room wasn't one of interest except for the scandalous this in her drawer.she moved down the hall looking in the mirror. she tilted her head. the reflection smirked at her. player got scared immediately entering the next room. a child room. she thought she was the only child here. there were stars and rainbows everywhere. They tilted their head as they whispered. "Asriel..." they closed the door and saw a stairway. they walked over and dragged their hand across and before they could take a step down torel stood a little ways down the hall "Child!" they looked up and backed away. toriel stormed over and grabbed their wrist. they looked at the stairway and pulled away "I...I want to go home!" toriel looked at them surprised "This is your home now." they shook their head "No i wanna go home home!" toriel stepped forward "come now child lets go sit i have some books i could read to-" Player turned around and bolted down the steps before she could finish. toriel ran after them"Child dont!"

they ran and saw a door as they sped up a little. A green flame engulfed the door as player came to s sudden stop they stumbled over their feet and quickly caught their balance. out of breath they looked back at toriel who held her hand up that was also swallowed in the green flame. she looked slightly up at player with green eyes. "Im trying to protect you. they will kill you out there without a second thought or regret." player faces toriel and pleads. Toriel ignores them as multiple balls of fire came for them. they doge and a scared for their life now. they again plead and is ignored. every time they dodge they get closer and closer to toriel. a fire ball hit them in the chest as they stumble back. they wince and run to toriel they hug her tight and pleaded again "Toriel please i wanna go home!" toriels hand was now free of fire as they reached down and petted the head of the small human. toriel sighed a little and slightly pushed them away. "If you really wish to go then..." the fire that guarded the door faded. "leave...but once you exit...child...never return..." they looked down excepting the consequences of their next action. they faced the door refusing to look at toriel. they pushed the large door open as toriel spoke again "Do not fear...someone will protect you. He wont break his promise. I hope he does not." before she could look back the door were already closing. player reached out as the door slammed shut. they lowered  their hand and put it on their chest. they turned away and began to walk. their feet crunching in the snow lightly.
