LGHT Volume One (Discontinued)

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I groan as I reach my hand out to turn off the annoying device. I wave my hand around and shift in my bed before I fall and land on the ground. I yelp and surprisingly don't wake up the rest of Team LGHT.

"Damn..." I mumble as I begin to dust myself off. I look over and see the obnoxious thing still beeping and a dark, murderous aura begins to surround me. A small knife forms in my hand and I stab the device with it. it short-circuits before shutting off forever. Blaze stares at me with her scarlette eyes narrowed. Her expression told me that she was saying, "Really?" I give her a tired expression before I look back at the injured clock. It read 8:55. My eyes widen and I jump up immediately.

"Crap we're gonna be late!!!!" I yell. I immediately grab my uniform that was laying on the ground and start to change out of my PJs right then and there. Hayley rolls her eyes at me groggily and points to her calendar.

"Lana, its Saturday." She says as I put on a sock, my skirt halfway on and my blouse in a mess.

"Wait, wut? .-."

I look to the calendar and sure enough it was Saturday. I flip an invisible table and collapse on the ground. Well then...

I take off my uniform and replace it with my normal clothes. I jump back onto my bunk and the rest of LGHT puts on their normal clothes as well. I look to Hayley and she had a smirk on her face.

"Today we have to go into Downtown Vale with Team RWBY to greet the students that are coming in from the other Kingdoms for the Vytal Festival!" She announces. I groan.

"UGHHH, WHY DO WE HAVE TO BE HERE TOO?????" Ruby complains as Hayley and Weiss lead Team RWBY and LGHT to Downtown Vale. I don't say anything, but really agree with my black-haired friend.

"Because Weiss and Hayley want to get a good look at the other students so that they can make up strategies for the Vytal Festival Tournament!" Yang says, smirking. Weiss turns around at her statement.

"That is preposterous! As the head of Beacon Student Council, it is my duty (duty XD sorry imma three-year-old on the inside .-.) to greet and welcome the arriving students. And Hayley is my secretary and it is her responsibility to keep track of everything that happens." Weiss replies. Hayley nods in agreement. Blaze rolls her eyes.

"Whatever you say..." she mumbles.

"I hope that there won't be any Faunus here." Hayley says. Blake narrows her eyes at the brunette.

"What do you have against the Faunus? Why are you so discriminative towards them?" she asks her. Hayley rolls her eyes.

"They're lying, stealing, brats and thieves." Weiss says. Shadow glares at the pair.

"Not all of them are that bad!" she says.
