Chapter 3

The bullies had heard of Silvia taking a fall, but didn't think anything of it. It was the start of the holidays anyway, so they were all too excited about their holidays. Janey, the second of the bullies, was excited about her boat holiday in Australia. "Bye guys! Mwah xxx," she texted to all her friends, before travelling to Australia. She couldn't wait to go boating, and climbed on the boat first thing the next morning. "Honey, don't you think that bikini is a little revealing?" asked her dad who was driving them out to sea. "No dad, gosh! Everyone's wearing this type of stuff!" she replied as she headed up to the top of the boat. The boat was 3 stories. The first was indoors, the second had a small ledge around the sides and the top was open to all the rays of the sun and sprays of sea water. "Honey, I'm gonna start dinner, come in soon and be careful!" shouted Janeys dad as he turned off the gears and stopped the boat in the center of the barren water.

"Haha, I'm on the titanic!" exclaimed Janey as she leaned on the front of the boats ledge. She laughed , then climbed a step higher, onto the next pole. the top of the rail was up to her hips. Again she laughed, but still wanted to be higher up, so she climbed higher, the top of the rail supporting her weight as it reached her thighs. She spread her arms out wide, and started to hum the titanic theme tune. "Hehehehe..." Giggling travelled past her ear, but she took no notice as a group of seagulls flew past her and distracted her. "Hehehehe..." The giggling grew louder, but she soon got distracted once again, by a sea turtle passing by. "Wow! Oh my gosh! It's so cool!" She climbed to the top of the rail and leant over to see the turtle. "This is called the laughing game..." A voice filled her ears. "Huh?! What?! Where are you?" She threw her head around, almost loseing balance on the rail. "YOU get pushed...and we laugh!" Janey was suddenly shoved forward by an invisible force. She slipped off the rail, and fell down towards the water, hitting her spine off the lower set of rails, and finishing with an almighty belly flop.

After a few days in hospital, it was confirmed that Janey had broken her spine due to the sudden impact on the metal rail. She became paralyzed and wasn't able to speak.
