Hey baby I just realized did your mom make your dad leave the house so I could stay because now I feel bad... I read the text from Shawn that I got after he had hung up

I dropped my phone and a tear ran down my cheek I took a deep breath he doesn't know I thought

I wiped my eyes and bent down to get my phone

Fuck I screamed watch your language my mom screamed from her room

Opppss I whispered to myself...I cracked my phone

I didn't know what to say to Shawn

You ok Lexi the girls asked walking out of my room seeing there were tears running down my cheeks

I hugged them both and I couldn't help but cry I can't be strong all the time

What happened Danielle asked

I showed her my phone

What it cracked? Gabby asked

I shook my head no and unlocked my phone to show her the message from Shawn

They didn't say anything they just hugged me again

What are you gonna say Danielle asked

I don't know I told her

Alright Danielle said taking out her phone she said what she was typing

Shawn Lexi's farther passed away when she was 13 .... should I just say that Danielle asked me and I nodded again I couldn't get words out of my mouth

Shawn responded about two minutes later

Lexi he responded Danielle said.. He's said oh my god I didn't mean to hurt her or get her upset I'm so sorry

Next thing I new my cracked phone was going off it was Shawn wanting to FaceTime again

I gave the phone to Danielle and ran into the bathroom and gabby followed me

I decided to answer it because I know Shawn didn't mean to get her upset and I know Lexi wasn't mad at him she was just upset

Lexi I'm so Shawn stopped mid sentence

Danielle? He said confused

I took a deep breath hey I said letting it out

Where's is she he asked worried

Oh she's just in the bathroom washing her face I exclaimed

Aw man I shouldn't have said anything I'm such an idiot Shawn told me looking down at the floor

No Shawn it's not your fault you would of had to find out about it one way or another she just doesn't like talking about because then she thinks about to much you know? I said hoping I'm making him feel a little better

He only nodded.

Listen Shawn she loves you and you love her nothing's going to change that... That made him smile

Well can I talk to her he asked eagerly

I ran to the bathroom in Lexi's room

Hey babe I said sniffling wiping my eyes with the hand that wasn't holding the phone

Shawn pouted are you ok he asked he looked really upset

I'm fine I told him smiling a little bit

Let me see that smile he told me I just looked at him come on let me see you smile he said in a baby voice and made a weird face I couldn't help but laugh

I froze and I'm not talking about the screen I didn't have the ability to say anything back I just stood there

I nodded that's all I could do and then I hung up

Shit I mumbled oh now I can talk I thought to myself

I texted him sorry hold on and ran to the girls

He said he loved me I told them

Well didn't he already say I love you Gabby asked

Yeah but that was threw text I never heard it come out of his mouth before

I froze I said sighing

I just stood there and then he asked if I was ok and I nodded and hung up

The girls giggled shut up I said joking

What am I gonna do I asked them

Call him back gabby screamed

And tell him you love him Danielle said finishing Gabby's sentence

Yeah I said standing up strong I got this I added

I grabbed my phone and called Shawn on FaceTime

Hey he said worriedly

I love you too I said really fast and awkwardly and he laughed and so did the girls I felt my cheeks get red and I smiled a bit

Good he replied smirking

I gotta go it's late here I'll talk to you tomorrow Shawn told me and I nodded

Good night I said

Night he replied hanging up and I let out a breath of relive

I sighed...

What's wrong the girls asked

It's just that there's 2 men that I've loved in my life and one of them is gone and I know I can't have him back but the other one I know I can have and he's not here

I mean it's not his fault I said with a tear running down my cheek

And... The girls hugged me

We love you Lexi Gabby said and Danielle nodded smiling a sad smile and were here when ever you need us Danielle added and I smiled and hugged them tighter

At that moment I realized boys weren't everything even though I did love Shawn
