Make Yourselves At Home

3rd person POV

"Ann, this is my husband Tyler." Jenna said.
"Hi, nice to finally meet you." The man said while he stuck his hand out for a shake.
Ann shook it softly as she hid her face behind her untamed hair.
"Oh and this is my friend Josh." Tyler said pointing to the man next to him.
"Uh, hi." He said with a small and shy wave. I returned it.
"Ill lead you guys to the truck." Ann said while grabbing Jenna's luggage.
They all followed Ann through now not so busy airport considering its only 10:46pm and into the crisp, and cool country air. They made it to the truck and the cold wind started to blow hard. ( Its October)
"Here Jenna. Start it up so you guys can get warmed up." Ann said handing her the keys.
" I CALL SHOTGUN!" Jenna shouted and ran to the passenger side and got in along with with Tyler sitting in the back on Jenna's side.
Ann opened up the tailgate and was having a little trouble putting the luggage in.
"Do you need some help?" Josh asked scaring her half to death.
" yes please." Ann said holding her hand above her chest.
Josh put the stuff in the tailgate like it weighed nothing.
"Thank you." Ann said in a shy voice.
"Uh, yeah, no problem." He said with a small smile.
Ann closed the tailgate as Josh got in on her side. Ann, as always, struggled to get in the driver's seat.
"And off we go." Ann said with a smile on her face. This is exactly what she needed. Company, other than her dog and cat. And maybe a new friend or two.

🌻TIME SKIP🌻

Ann's POV

We made it back to my house and it was 12:06am. Everyone and I got out and got their stuff from the back. I unlocked the door and im greeted by my dog Roxy and my kitten Fluffy Mittens. (My 4 yr old sister named it😂)
"Oh my God, you have a kitten." Jenna says while picking up mittens.
"What's her name?" Tyler asks while taking mittens from Jenna.
"Fluffy Mittens, my sister named her." I said laughing
"And what about your dog?" Josh asked on the floor with Roxy cuddled up in him.
"Roxy." I said smiling.
"And where will we be sleeping?" Jenna asks taking mittens back from Tyler who makes a pouting face.
"Come with me." I said walking to the stairs.
My house is kinda big but rent is kinda cheap and I furnished it myself from top to bottom. I made it homey. As we walked up he stairs I told them that the house was theirs for as long as they stay here.
"This is the bedroom with the queen sized bed and that's the bedroom also with a queen sized bed." I said pointing to the two rooms across from each other.
"Thats the bathroom, and dont worry its big enough for 5 people." I said using a quiet voice.
"That's my room, and if you guys need anything, just let me know." I said with a toothy grin. I was so happy having people over.
Jenna engulfed me in another tight hug that I kindly returned.
"Thank you so much for letting us stay here." She said.
" yeah thanks." Tyler said looking in one of the spare bedrooms.
"No problem, I really happy having company over for awhile. So I'll leave you guys to it. Make yourselves at home." I said smiling.
They all went to choose what rooms they were going to stay in and i went to mine with Roxy and mittens behind me. After that the house went quiet and still.
I climbed underneath covers of my king sized bed. My room was kinda big just like the  spare bedrooms. I had two doors that opened to the room. To the right, there was a huge window and in front of it was my white piano with my guitar next to it and my blue acoustic drum kit in the corner. My vanity was in front of my bed and to the left was my closet the door to my bathroom. Roxy climbed onto the bed and laid down near my feet with mittens snuggled up in her. I fell asleep with a smile on my face thinking about how fun this is going to be.
