"Liam, baby, what about this one?" If he had to see the same dress in forty different shades of colors, he was going to rip his hair out.

"It's nice, Sasha." He said in a monotone voice. "Just like the last few other ones, that all look the same."

"You said that for the last few." She said whining. "You aren't being a supportive and fun boyfriend. I hope you're not like this when we are married. I need your full attention at all times."

A few is an understatement. He thought to himself. Honestly, why was he with this woman, again? Oh, I knew that answer! This was the daughter of his father's friend. Since Liam was little he knew and saw Sasha as nothing more than a friend and little pain in the ass sister. However, his father thought different. Since the other girls he was with did not equal up to his parents' standards, since half of them were money hungry... his father took matters into his own hands.

Playing the matchmaker.

Nonetheless, right now was the last straw. It has been almost three long ass months and he could not stand it anymore. This woman can cause any man to get gray hair at a young age. The nagging, dress fitting, whining and the stuck up bitchy attitude. Honestly, he also hated to admit it but the sex was lousy.

"Liam, what about this one?" Sasha came out with a pastel baby blue, strapless dress.

That is when Liam stood up. "Sasha, I can't do this anymore."

"What shopping?" She pouted, which made his already aggravated mood worse. "We can go to another store."

"No, us. I want to end it. I cannot stand it anymore. The way you act, how you present yourself when it comes to my friends and when we are in public. I don't know what happened to the person, I grew to love as a sister. Now you are just a pain in my ass, I want to get rid of. I swear, I can't stand you anymore." He stuffed his hands into his jean pockets. A habit he would do when he was getting either angry or nervous.

Sasha glared at him. "How do I act?" She huffed. "You are being awfully rude."

"Like a stupid, spoiled, annoying child." He said quickly. "You were never like this before, not until our father's forced us together. But being a good son, I said yes, let me give this a try. I knew you were a good girl when we were growing up; so sweet and nice to anyone around. Now you screw up your nose, like a damn pig when you see poor people or go to charities, I attend." He took a deep breath.

"And when you are around my friends from base, you flirt and for heaven's sake, you slept with one of them the night you said, "I love you" to me. Which I refuse to say to you. That proves you do not know what love is."

"You know I love you, Liam!" She huffed. "You are my fiancé!"

"No, you don't, Sasha. You never did. I do not even love you and I want to end this torture. I cannot stand all this, even the shopping! How any colors can one dress have?"

Before another word came out of Sasha's mouth, he quickly exited the boutique and almost hit right into a woman that seemed too familiar to him. As soon as their arms brushed against each other, Liam felt a tingle up his spine; however, the woman who was walking away from him did not seem to notice. Instead, he watched her walk right into the same boutique he just left.

Taking a deep breath, he turned around and walked away; he knew that Sasha would call her father any second now and make a sob story about their breakup. Nothing new, she always played the victim. What was the worse his father could do? The man was never content to what his son did.

Five hours later...

"DISOWNED!" That was the loudest word that came out of Liam's father's mouth since the day he came back from the military academy as a graduate. Then again his father never cared to come to his graduation ceremony and attended his party just to act like he was a proud father. Utter bullshit and hypocrite.

"Harold!" His mother hissed. "You can't disown him, just for that!"

"I do as I please!" He snapped at his wife. "He has been nothing, but giving this name disgrace. He was in so many fights at illegal rings, was caught partying at an underground club that was for criminals! And he joined the military academy after dropping out of one of the best schools, I sent him too. But now the fool breaks the heart of one of the second wealthiest man's daughter's hearts! Who is one of my friends!"

"She didn't love me and I didn't love her." Liam said sitting calmly. "The marriage would have been a disaster and also we wouldn't have last."

"What do you know what love is?" His father said glaring at him.

"Do you know honestly think, I would marry a girl like Sasha?" Liam stood up. "I wouldn't be happy and further more. I do not care about being disowned. I have a well enough bank account, which MY own money is in and a house, I bought with MY own money. I joined the military to please you as well. I didn't know being a Freeze had standards. Think about what our family line was before all this wealth and fame. Our family line was a bunch of thieves and poor street people. If it wasn't for my great-great grandfather we wouldn't be living the high life." That was the last thing he said as he walked to his mother, handed her keys to the house he was now standing in and kissed her on the cheek.

"Keep in touch, love." His mother said as she kissed him back on his cheek and watched him walk past his fuming father and out the door.

Once he was outside and walking to his car, he saw Sasha standing by her red Porsche, her face red from crying; her perfect makeup running down her face. Shaking his head, he reached his black and silver '67 Chevy Camaro and climbed in. Starting the car, he drove off his parents' three point five-million-dollar property. Wow, I was disowned for breaking off a relationship, with a girl that would make my father richer, how pathetic.

Liam drove in silence, as he was lost in his own thought. One thing that popped in his head was the woman that looked so familiar to him. Who was she? Not only that, he got that weird feeling down his spine, when he brushed past her. As soon as he turned at the corner, that is when it hit him! He remembered who she was. She was the same woman he met in the rain, trying to flag down a taxi. What was her name, again? Beatrisa? Beatrice? No... It was a lot shorter.... Beth? No....

It was Bella!

Smiling to himself, he laughed.

His mind was so caught up on Bella, he did not know that he was already in front of his house. All he could remember was a beautiful woman standing in the rain, she was way more attractive than Sasha. Sighing, he turned off the engine of his car and climbed out. He looked up at his thirty hundred-thousand-dollar home, he bought weeks ago. This home was roomy, but it missed a woman's touch. He knew Sasha would never be that woman.

Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he walked up the stair and stopped at the door to find the newspaper at the door.

Looks like I will have to search for a job....
