Hemlock High was unwelcoming to say the least. While everyone else was in their classes you would be the rebellious teen of the group. Always sneaking out, going to smoke. Countless times getting caught, but it never shamed you. You were the OG bad girl, and everyone knew it. Boys would always be interested in you. But inside, you were so broken. The way you reflected to people, you were always so sensitive, and whenever you had someone to yourself, you took care in them, you were grateful for anything you got your hands on. But everyone else spoke. You were always claimed to be different.
You had possibly one or two true friends, who honestly kept you going.
Same old day at school, you stepped out of your car, and leaned against it to light a cigarette. As the fiery red embers grew, you took a deep drag. Exhale. Locking your car with the cigarette still placed between your soft lips, you peered round to see none other than Roman Godfrey perched on a wall, staring at you with his glowing emerald eyes. A cigarette between his fingers, legs stretched apart. As you walked right past him to go to the school entrance, he looked as if he wanted to say something, but before he managed a group of girls crowded him. Typical.
You heard a lot about him, rumours going 'round about him. Almost every girl there had been fucked by him. You wouldn't be surprised, he was bangable as fuck.
As you flipped your brunette hair out of your face, you felt eyes on you, strange. You quickly threw your cigarette to the ground and put it out using your heel. As you entered the crowded school corridor, the silence was broken. Rushing students, slamming lockers, and the muffled laughs.
As you for once decide to go to your geometry class, you enter the room, scanning the familiar faces, one catches your eye, Roman.
Have I ever even been to this class, I don't even remember him being in here? You joke to yourself.
You briefly sit your assigned seat, and sit there blankly, texting on your phone. The teacher gives you an unamused look. "Do I need to confiscate?" she says, giving you a sharp look. You lean back and give her a sarcastic grin, "Nope".
"Answering back now, I see?" she replies, getting rather angry at you. You set down your phone and cross your arms, like a child. You see Roman giving you a rebellious smirk, almost as if he likes what he's seeing.
"Awfully sorry, Miss".
"Detention" she adds, giving you the most unimpressed, angry look.
You stand up from your seat, grab your phone, and put it in your back pocket of your jeans. "Yeah, I don't think so, I'll stick to skipping classes" you say, pulling out a cigarette from your pocket.
As you get to the door of the class, you give a sarcastic wave to the students, and vanish into the corridor before she could stop you.
You push open the doors, you go to your spot where you always hide during lessons, right at the back. You hear footsteps behind you, but ignore it.
When you get to the spot, you light the cigarette and sigh. Closing your eyes for a second, tilting your head back, to open them again, peering up at the azure blue sky, the clouds' colours were remarkably pure and rich in tone, when your peace was interrupted.
"Y/N am I right?" a deep voice spoke.
"Shit" You jump, standing up, pulling the cigarette from your lips and dangling it between your two fingers. You adjust to the lighting and soon notice it's Roman, is he stalking you or what?
"Did I scare you?" he speaks, giving you a smirk.
"Uh, yeah. I wasn't expecting you to find me here" you marvel.
