As I make my morning commute to the Teaching Compound,I find that the unavailability of explanation...the lack of answers weigh heavy on my mind.
I look into the rear view mirror.
I don't look different but something has definitely changed.
A hefty knock shocks me out of my observation and I look to the source of the noise.
It's Theo,I mean Mr.Cortez.
'Don't be silly.He's a co-worker,be professional.'
I quickly manually roll down the window and nod politely at him.
Theodore smiles, his happy aura infectious as I smile too.
"Good morning,Alexandri."
"Good morning T-Theodore."
"May I escort you into our dear Teaching Compund?"
I nod, grabbing my bag and exiting my veichcle.
He holds his arm out for me to take and i do.
He puts his nose in the air, adopting a ramrod straight posture.
We get all the way to the entrance before we both dissolve into giggles.
Yes,something has changed indeed.
