Synn sat back in one of the lounge chairs in the private section, surveying his surroundings. He was there with his younger siblings. It had been his brother Ashton's idea to come to the club. Synn hadn't necessarily been against the idea, knowing that it would kill some times until an appointment they had later that night. However, he knew that shit always popped off when he and his siblings were all in the same place together. Hell, it popped off when they were out individually. It just got a bit worse when they were all together.
His eyes shifted as he watched Kylen, his youngest sibling, pull a girl into his chest as she had been trying to pass by. He watched the scene in front of him as she tried to push away from him, but Kylen wasn't letting her go. His baby brother was like that. When he found something he liked or wanted, he tended to take it. Regardless of whether or not it belonged to someone else. Women were no exception. When she pushed against the boy's chest he only pulled her tighter.
"Easy, Little Brother." Synn heard Grae, his sibling closest in age state. "Don't scare the poor girl."
"She looks like a little doll." Kylen spoke. "I just want to play with her."
Synn didn't miss the sound of his sister, Emery, snorting due to the fact that there were no speakers on their side of the club and the music wasn't as loud as it was on the other side. Nor did he miss the fact that the girl's eyes widened at his brother's words.
A few seconds after Kylen's comment, the young girl was snatched from him a bit forcefully and another woman, who instantly peaked Synn's curiosity, stepped in from of her.
"Go play with someone else."
She was about five foot seven. A few inches taller than the girl whose rescue she came to. Her voice made his dick twitch slightly behind his zipper. Eyes molten brown. Her skin was a warm sepia and Synn wondered if it felt as soft as it looked. Tasted as good as it looked. She had plump lips and he was envisioning all of the things they could do to him. As he studied her in those few seconds he watched the scene play out in front of him.
Saw his brother try to reach out and grab the girl again. Not to be deterred from what he wanted. Only to have Caramel Queen grab his hand and push on his opposite shoulder. Synn saw the end result coming before it actually did. So he wasn't surprised when he saw her kick the back of his knee, bringing him down.
The anger that sparked in Kylen's eyes was unmistakable. His youngest sibling wasn't known for his patience and had a temper that was legendary in their circle. Though none of his siblings took any shit, and Synn knew he himself could be considered a psychopath at times, he knew that he wasn't. Well, for the most part. He often wondered if he could boast the same for Kylen.
"That's what you get for hassling her." Grae stated retrieving the boy as she let him go and without a word, grabbing the other girl and leaving.
Synn tracked the woman across the club and watched her sit at a table. She seemed to be fawning over the girl. More than likely making sure she was alright and he mildly wondered it they were together.
He continued to watch her. She didn't get up and dance. Just sat with the other girl at the table as they looked out at the people on the dance floor. Synn was pleased at this fact. He didn't want to see her dancing with another man. She didn't know it, but Synn had decided she was going to be his.
Ashton's phone ringing pulled him from his thoughts and he looked over to his middle sibling to see if it was the call that he had been waiting for. When the younger man shook his head, Synn turned his attention back out over the club. That was when he saw a blonde headed in their direction.
