Broken (Nalu Fan-Fic)

Chapter 1 Mission

Nobody's POV~
The sun peaks out from the land, spreading it's light and warmth
across Magnolia. One particular ray
of light somehow makes it's way into
a window. Past that window lays
the light and star of Fairy Tail, Lucy.
Her blonde hair is cascading down her
pillow, the way her lips part slightly
in a tight, small frown. The light beams down on her reveling her honey brown
orbs. Right after they open they close in annoyance to having the sun
her eyes. Slowly she sits up,
and closes the curtains. Lucy walks
over to her dresser to grab some
clothes before jumping in the shower.
Once out of the shower she dresses in
a galaxy sweater dress, with black boots, a moon necklace, and two
bows on the side of her head.

When she looks in the mirror she
is greeted with her own dead, cold eyes. "Today is the day.." Lucy says
in a monotone voice as she slowly walks out of her bathroom. Before
she leaves she grabs her whip and keys. Then walks out to Magnolia.

Lucy's POV~
I walk down the street acting happy,
but inside I am a bundle of nerves.
Deciding if this is a good idea or
am I over reacting? I don't have much
time to ponder before I'm at Fairy Tail.
'Well no turning back now...' I say to
myself while opening the doors.
Like usual no one even sees me.
I slowly walk over to the bar to
talk to Mira. One of the only people
who talk to me. "Morning Lucy!"
Mira says in her happy voice.
"Morning Mira!" I say in a fake happy
tone. "Lu-Chan!" I hear a voice behind me. I turn to see Levy-Chan, "Hey
Levy-Chan!" I greet back. "Have you finished it?" Levy-Chan asks. "Yep at my apartment!" I say trying to be as happy as I can. "Great!" Levy-Chan says while sitting next to me.
We talk for a few minutes and for a second I'm happy, but it goes away quickly. I feel a hand on my head
and know exactly who it is "Hey
Gajeel." Levy-Chan greets with
a slight blush. We keep talking and talking before I get up and go to the board. I look at it for awhile trying to find the hardest one when I hear a cough behind me. I turn and
see Team Natsu.
"U- Um... H- Hey L- Luce.." Natsu
says nervously. Though my better judgement says not I answer with happiness. "Hey guys!" I greet
happily, for the first time in months I feel happy. "W- We need to talk.."
Natsu stutters out. Wait Natsu stuttered? Something is wrong.... They
all have worried faces. "Ok!" I say pushing down the gut feeling I have.
"W- Well we want L- Lissanna on
t- the team... So t- that leads to um...."
I interrupt Natsu before he could finish, "Leads to kicking me out?
It's fine!" I say like it is nothing, but it is actually everything.
I grab a "random" job and walk over to Mira. "M- Mira I'm taking this job." I say in a monotone voice
not even trying to hide my saddness amd anger.
"L- Lucy this job i-" before I can hear her finish a walk out, slamming the
door behind me. Once out I run to my
apartment having tears run down my face. I get to my apartment and grab Virgos key and quickly chant out
"Open gate of the maiden, Virgo!"
Once I say is Virgo comes in a blinding light. "Hime..." Virgo says hugging me in a huge hug. "It's official the plan
will h- happen." I say through a choked
voice. We run all over my apartment packing everything. I ask Virgo to keep
my things in the Celestial world for now. I run out my now almost empty
apartment, down the streets and out of Magnolia.

Guild's POV~
They watches as the blonde walked out, no sound was made since the door
slammed shut. All of Team Natsu
had a worried expression. Mira stands
there with a sad smile. All is quiet till
a certain iron eater can't hold it anymore. "What is wrong with you?"
He whispers but is loud enough for everyone to hear. "What?" Erza
asks recovering from being shocked.
"Can't you see?" Gajeel asks like it
is the most obvious question. "See what?" Natsu asks curiously. "And you call yourselves friends of hers." Gajeel
says. "We don't understand,"
Gray starts, "what's wrong?"
This time it is Mira who speaks.
"L- Lucy she...." Mira bites her lip
for a moment, "S- She goes on
missions alone, and comes back with
deep cuts. None of y'all have talked
to her in 6 months. Lucy cries
herself to sleep at night wondering why or if we care about her."
Mira says remembering all the times she has seen Lucy break down.
"Lu-Chan tried to hurt herself thinking
that no one would care if she
was gone." Levy stops, her face growing pale by the memories of all the blood. Slowly everyone who never forgot about the stellar mage came up.
Slowly all of the new information being brought up made everyone incredibly
guilty for what they have done. Especially a certain Pyro.
They hurt her, they ,in a way,
broke her.
