Chapter 34 Fights

Lucy's POV~

By the time I get back  house the lights are on and everyone seems to be awake, all except Thorn... I remind myself sadly. I open the door and go into the living room to find that all of my Fairy Tail family is sitting down. "Why is everyone up?" I ask which makes everyone look at me. It is in that moment I notice a few things... First, I'm still in my pajamas..... Second, Wendy isn't here, and third...... they all look like they just went through hell. It makes a bad feeling start to bubble in my stomach.... Then they tell me....

I run into Thorn's room to find him knocked out and strapped down, Wendy healing him slowly. I move to Rose's room to find her door locked and no light coming from the cracks. Finally I go to Ember's room. her room is painted a light blue, almost like the sky, with black ravens that look like they are flying across the walls. Ember painted this room herself, it's a secret talent of her's that we don't talk much about. "Ember...." I mumble as i see her sitting on her bed with her head in her hands. "Where were you?" Her voice is shaky and tired. I stay silent, how am I going to say that I was walking in the woods wanting to leave my family again.... "Where were you?" Ember says with her voice more loud and angry. It makes me want to cower, but I don't. "I couldn't sleep... so I took a walk to the lake." I say, it's the the truth but it isn't everything. "Really?! You left because you couldn't sleep?? I bet you had another stupid nightmare?!" Ember yells, now standing up and looking at me. Her eyes are bloodshot and seem to have dark eye bags underneath. It's obvious that sje is as scared and worried as me. But her eyes have clear anger in her eyes that I've never seen before. "Stop being an idiot! So people don't like? Well guess what your not perfect!" Ember yells, I can hear gasp people behind me. No doubt this caught the attention of everyone else. "And so what if your not strong?! You act like your the only who isn't confidant! So stop being such a brat!" Ember raises her voice which makes me flinch and close my eyes. "Oh stop that act! NO ONE CARES, YOU B***H!!!!" Ember screams. Everything comes crashing down as I remember the yelling I've went through in my life. Most was in my childhood by my dad... Suddenly I feel someone come in front of me and I see that Natsu once again is protecting me. This hits me right in the gut, I'm still being protected by him.... I'm still weak. I know Ember is still yelling at me but I can't hear her.... Instead I can only hear a loud ringing my mind. I can faintly hear Natsu discouraging what Ember says but the ringing grows louder and louder. Till it stops when I hear, "MAYBE THEY WERE RIGHT ABOUT YOU BEING WEAK!" I can hear distantly everyone gasp but it only makes the pain I feel stronger. I knew I couldn't be happy... I think to myself before running out of the room with tears running down my face. I run to my room and seal the door behind me. I change quickly into changing into black tights, a dark blue skirt, and black shirt that has sleeves that go to my forearms. I slip on my black boots and tie up by hair. I put on my black gloves and hook my whip and keys to my belt. I look in the mirror to find I was crying so I whipe my tears. I can hear banging and knocking at my sealed door. "Luce! Open the door!" Natsu says through the sealed door. But I don't answer I spray myself in scent consealer, knowing that Natsu would come after me. I quickly write a note before jumping out of the window and landing safely on the ground. I start to go closer to the woods but before I am fully hidden in the trees I look back at the cabin. Truthfully I really don't want to leave.... But I'm going to do this, I'm going to get Lilly back.
