Somehow, I managed to fall asleep in Brad's hotel room. God knows how. I woke up at about 12pm, with way too many missed calls from my dad - I text him to explain myself.
I pulled myself up from the bed to look around the room - which was empty. Unaware of my surroundings (seeing as I'd just woken up), I stumbled around the hotel room trying to find someone. "Brad?" I called out. No reply. Obviously, I immediately feared the worst. I grabbed my phone and rang Brad.
He answered, much to my relief. "Where are you?" I sighed, calming down.
"At the studio. Sorry, I didn't want to wake you up. Did you not see the note I left?" he said.
"No, what note?" I hadn't seen any note...
"I left it on the bed side table, right next to you."
I walked over to the bed side table and found a note. The handwriting was small so I picked it up to read it. It said 'He shouldn't have left.'.
"Holy shit..." I dropped the note and began frantically running rowards the door of the room. Locked.
"What? Arianna, are you okay?" Brad sounded worried.
"No, I'm far from okay! Brad somebody's in here!" I heard something smash behind me. Shit. I was cornered.
"What? Talk to me!" Brad started shouting.
"The note!" I yelled. "Someone replaced it to say 'he shouldn't have left'!" I started hearing footsteps. Out of panic, I dropped my phone and grabbed the nearest weapon I could find - one of Brad's guitars.
Shaking, I edged towards where the noise was coming from. I reached the bed and looked around - there was nothing. How does someone just disappear?
I could hear Brad shouting down the phone from the other end of the room, begging me to answer him. As I began walking towards it, I got that feeling again - that feeling that I'm being watched.
Then, I felt a sharp blow to the back of my head. A short scream managed to escape my mouth as I fell helplessly to the ground. My attacker stepped over me as I began to black out, reaching for my phone. The last sound I heard was Brad's voice calling my name.
