Hola! Buenos tardes mi amigos ;). How's your weekend going? Anyway, Keepin' this short. Last chapter you found out Cole and Mason knew each other. There's going to be a lot more of Mason now. So, enjoy this chapter!!
Cil's POV:
"Well I guess I'm just going to have to take it then." I barely had time to make sense of what he said before Mason lunged at me. He tackled me to the ground and I hit my head. There was this heavy weight on my chest and it was a bit hard to breath. I knew it was Mason.
"Get- ugh." I grunted, trying to push him off me. "Off, me!" I yelled. There was a sharp pain in my nose and I cried out in pain. There was a warm liquid rushing down my face. He freaking punched me! Suddenly the weight was off my chest and I inhaled deeply.
"What the hell Mase!!" I heard Cole roar. I sat up and wiped the blood away from my nose. I saw Cole hit his best friend in front of me.
"You freaking cunt!!! What the actual fuck! You don't just go around hitting girls you ass hole!" I screamed. Mason turned to me and smirked.
"Oh, but it's okay for me to shoot people dead?" He asked as he stood up. "Last time I checked, I couldn't give a damn what you think is wrong. Your wrong and my wrong is completely different sweetheart." He whispered. He was standing so close to me I could smell his aftershave. He was extremely taller than me. I stood up straighter as he walked in a circle around me. He bent down and whispered in my ear.
"Besides, You stole from me. You're no better than me." I scoffed.
"I don't kill people." I spat. He laughed.
"Oh, Honey, cut the act, you bitch. You know it's your fault your poor mommy's dead." He stood up straighter and walked away. "You know, It's a damn shame. Your mom was hot as hell. I totally would've fucked her." He said with a laugh. Oh, the bastard. I was filled with white hot rage. I walked up to him and hit him in the face. I felt a crack under my fist and flinched. Mason looked shocked as hell. Then, his nose started gushing blood. I bent over to Mason, who was now laying on the floor and whispered,
"Don't you ever speak of my mother again, you piece of shit." I was fuming. How dare he! Who did he think he was? I walked past Cole and into the apartment. I heard Mason mumble to Cole, "Your girlfriend is a major bitch." I looked back and saw Cole frowning.
"She's not my girlfriend...." I felt a pang in my chest at those words. What did he see me as? His friend? Some chick who made him feel better about himself? Mason walked past me into a closet and pulled out a first aid kit. He disappeared into another room. Cole walked over to me and grabbed my face.
"Are you okay? Is it still bleeding?" I frowned and walked away. MAson came out and threw a wash cloth at me.
"Here. Go clean yourself up." I raised a brow at him.
"Don't think it's because I care- I don't. I don't want you getting blood all over my apartment." I nodded once and went down the hall. I realized he didn't tell me where the bathroom is so I was opening every door. I opened one and came to a halt. I looked around the corner to make sure they were busy, and walked in. This looked like Mason's room. I looked around. It was not too big but not small either. His walls were a cream color and his bed had a black comforter on it. His room was very clean and didn't have many possessions, like he didn't spend too much time here. His walls were blank. There was a bathroom connected to his room and I went in and washed up. I was getting ready to leave when something caught my eye.
I turned to his night stand and picked up the picture frame on it. I looked at it and couldn't help it- I smiled. There was a very young, very innocent looking Mason smiling. Next to him there was an extremely beautiful woman with her arm draped around him. She had aburn hair and golden brown eyes. She was smiling a huge smile. Mason looked happy, peaceful even. They looked like they were in some kind of forest. The background was so green. It was beautiful.
