Chapter 24

“Where are we?” Tom asked. He looked around only to see the busy muggle street.

“Shaftes Bury Avenue, I used to come here at the theatre with mom and dad. I don’t really know why I brought us here, it just popped in my head.” She answered.

“Then let’s watch the theatre.” Tom suggested.

“Okay. This way.” She said as she pointed the direction.

She stopped. The theatre was supposed to be in front of them, but it’s just an empty building. She realized that maybe it hasn’t been opened.

“Oh!” she said. “Maybe they’ve closed it down.” She lied.

“It’s okay.” Tom said, sensing that she was disappointed. “We can always go somewhere else.” He said. But Hermione was still looking at the empty building. “Let’s eat muggle ice cream.” He said, which caught Hermione’s attention.

She smiled at him and they went to the nearest muggle ice cream shop.

They’ve ordered but Tom realized that he doesn’t have muggle money. He looked at the waitress and said, “Er, we are actually,” but Hermione cut her.

“Here.” She said as she paid for it.

“You have muggle money?” he asked.

“Yes. In case of emergencies.” They ate their ice cream in comfortable silence.

They just went around the muggle street. Holding hands as they walk around.

“We probably should go back before everyone looks for us.” She said. Tom apparated them out of there and they arrived at Hogsmeade.

They entered the castle and everyone was looking at them, but they ignored it.

Harry was glad that they were back and that Hermione’s fine. He spent his day in the Room of requirement. After they apparated in Hogsmeade Harry see fit to go back.

He was about to tell Dumbledore that they went somewhere when they arrived. Sighing, he went inside his room and planned.
