Breakfast?

Red puffy eyes , with streaky mascara is not the way Kaia thinks her day should really begin.'I mess up ' I thought ' I really. messed. up' . Things went over my head way too fast ,  contemplating whether if I should moved out of the country, change my name into fucking Sarah or go out there and face the judging eyes of NorthVeiw High.

20 minutes ago

My heart was in my mouth today,  it was after the Winter Break and I had a really important oral exam , i was terrified! . People might say its' just talking, but to me I find it the devil's advocate an easy way to make a total fool of yourself .

I remembered going to school very early,so I can practice and maybe walk out the butterflies that have been flying around in me for the past thirty minutes. This morning I had a hearty meal hoping I can stay more alert and can perform well in class today.
   
Shuffling the flashcards reciting the words bouncing up and down the hallway, i ended up bumping into someone. Beginning to apologize ,my stomach started to contracted violently and  in no time chunks of food was splattered all over his white t shirt. Seeing my breakfast all over  him almost cause me to heaved again. So I dash down the hallway. Lock my self in a bathroom stall and empty out the rest of my breakfast and started balling my eyes out.

No this person was not hideous looking, in fact he had that face that will make you stop in your tracks with a nonchalant gaze and jaw dropping smile . He was the bad boy of NorthVeiw High very cliche . Hang out with the wrong crowd, Stupid rich and was a fuck boy giving you the one and only Ryker Steel.

Present

'Maybe he forget......ugh!' putting my head in my hands and rolling more tissue I blew my nose out and just by looking at the snotty tissue more tears came out of my eyes. Way to go Kaia , a great way to start a fucking Monday!!

Hearing my phone chimed I pulled it out of my bag and not surprisingly I got a text from Rowan. Our first encounter was at the cafe down the street, I end up spilling some of my coffee on her books,and to say it  really was a first bad impression. At first she  hated me but from the constant apologies and showing up to  all of her clubs events to show her how really sorry I was. Eventually we became friends.
 
"Where are u ? , Class started ten mins ago". With a heavy sigh my fingers  started typing

"I'm in the bathroom..... something happen but I will be coming soon". Great how am I supposed to explain this, maybe I should skip .
 
Thumbs wiggling over the screen before I could message again, a next chimed came means she texted again. "So ....... do u want me to get you? , NVM I'm coming".

Eyes popping out I furiously started typing, and before I could run out of the stall Rowan was here. Flushed cheeks out of breath dressed in a pink  sweater and  her same old mom jeans.

"What happened!?" Rowan said to me going over to the sinks I turn  the water on and begin washing the vomit out of  my mouth . I  started to splash it over my face as well to get rid of the puffiness. "Something happen right? , it can't be that bad"

Cringing at the word bad leaning on the sink "Define bad" I said. Telling her the gruesome details of this morning . Leaving Rowan with wide eyes, several minutes pass by Rowan begin to laugh really loudly and then asked "Do you want a hug?"

Still giggling with opening arms I embrace her , "Should I skip school today or dig a hole and hide forever?.

"The second idea sound right to me , you know". Closing my eyes I sigh,  letting me go she grabbed my shoulders giggling some more . "Oh Kaia , I am going to be really honest  I don't know what to say , but I do know what to do". Smiling even wider "How about we let the nurse give you a free pass and go get some breakfast ?".
  
Thinking a little longer she go on saying "It's on me ,and I know you are hungryyyyy". I smiled and say "Maybe".

"Great we could go to the cute diner in town and we will talk more about your breakfast fiasco". Slinging her arm around my shoulder we head down the hallway to the nurse.

At least I'm going to get breakfast again I thought.
