He looks at me with eyes full of dread, the color draining from his face. He parts his lips as of to.say something but then stops then proceeds to say, "I'm sorry." There is a long pause before he finishes. "You were gone, and I thought I lost you. I fell apart and tried moving on but I still insisted on visiting you every day." I feel grief fall over me, but I dismiss it. He could be lying to me, again. As if on que, "I swear I'm not lying." I look at his eyes to see if he is lying, somehow I can tell he isn't. "Well." I say slowly. "I was texting her because since you were back... I didn't want to be with her anymore." You probably broke her heart." He looks sad and desperate once again. "I probably hurt you more." I take a step toward him, pause, and wrap my arms around him. "I forgive you." I whisper into his ear.

We just stand there, holding each other. I breathe in a familiar scent. Rootbeer. I smile. How I love that scent. I eventually let go and stare into his eyes. He takes my hand and guides me to the living room. "Lets watch 'Mortal Instruments'." "What's that?" "You shall see won't you?" He teases. He plops down ln the couch and pats the spot next to him motioning me to sit down. I hesitate then decide it is right and sit next to him. He wraps his arm around me and I lean against him and sigh. He looks at me, smiles, and presses play.

It feels nice not being alone.

I find myself thinking instead of watching. Then I look on the screen the door opens, and the girl says "Jesus!" The guy walks in, "Nope. Just me." I feel myself giggle and I see Zach smile.
