Chapter 5

"SEBASTIAN WANTS YOU TO PRETEND TO BE HIS GIRLFRIEND?"

"Say it louder for the world to hear, E."

"Why does he want that? He literally could've asked for anything else."

"Apparently Kay is getting on his ass about them dating and he's annoyed with her."

Kay is the schools...how do I say it? Regina George wannabe? Well anyways, I don't understand why in the world I agreed to Sebastian's request, but as long as Kay doesn't get what she wants i'm happy. Oh that sounded bitchy.

Kay has a goal to ruin everyone lives, especially mines. Ever since 6th grade she's been like this towards me and of course, she always ends up getting what she wants.

"Hey"

I turn to see Sebastian standing behind me with flowers. Daisies to be specific.

"I see you're serious with this"

"How'd you know those were my favorite?"

I point at the Daisies.

"I gave Derek $20"

I stifle a laugh. "Of course you did"

"Well, ready for mission Regina George"

"I was born ready" I say mocking Kay and flipping my hair back.

"Here take these. I have to go. Bye." He says while handing me the bouquet of daisies.

"Bye"

I turn around to a wide eyed Ellie and smile at her.

"What just happened?"

"I'm asking myself the same exact question."

"He doesn't seem so bad. Do you think the rumors are true?" I ask Ellie with a thoughtful expression, but all she does is shrug.

We walk to class and I sit in the last sit close to the window. Ellie sits next to Jared leaving an empty seat next to me. "May I sit, princess?" a familiar voice says.

"Princess?"

"That's all you can come up with?"

"Hey! I'm trying"

"Okay,okay"

"Yeah, you can sit. If you like being in the back."

"As long as I am away from Kay"

As he said that I hear heels clicking on the tiles. As I look up I see Kay wearing a black skirt that reaches mid thigh and a white crop top. She walks towards Sebastian's desk and seductively says "Hey baby, we still on for tonight? I was thi-"

"Actually, i'm staying in with Madison"

"With who?"

"Madison" he says nodding his head towards me.

"Oh, her" she says in a disgusted tone.

"Yeah, with me. Now go toodle doo down your magical fairytale path"

She scoffs and walks away. "Toodle doo?"

"Yeah. You got a problem with that?"

"Not at all." Sebastian says trying to control his laughter. I smile along with him and we continue the lesson until lunch arrives. When the bell rings, I quickly pack up my things and start to walk out of class. I feel someone interlace their fingers with mine. I expected it to be Derek or Ellie, but it's Sebastian.

"Aren't you embarrassed being around me?"

"Nope" he says popping the p.

"Okay then."

He squeezes my hand in reassurance and we head to the cafeteria.
