Meeting his parents

Today is going to be very exciting! I am going to meet Daniels parents. Of course I told my parents that we are dating immediately. And they approve of our relationship. My little brother Alex keeps teasing me, because I am talking about him  so much. That is something he will get back when he has his first girlfriend. Don’t get me wrong Alex and I get along very well. But we have to tease each other, that is what siblings are for.  Apparently he’s happy for me.

I just Hope that his parents like me too. I am travelling by Oxford tube, which takes you from Oxford to London and back. I am on my phone listening to some music,when I realized that I have to get out. I arrive at Daniels place rather quickly.   I ring the doorbell and his mum answers the door. „Hey Emma I am Marcia, Dan's mum.“ She said politely. I said it would be nice to meet her as she lead me in the house.
  I give Dan a hug and he being a total gentleman kisses my cheek. This is incredibly akward . A tall man approaches me and introduces himself as Alan, Dan's  dad obviously. As it is already later in the afternoon we get settle in the dining room for tea. I pour myself a cup of tea politely , also I am so nervous I don't think I can swallow. „ Are you looking forward to start filming  again?“ Alan  asked me. „Absolutely! I can’t wait to see what the set for the Yuleball is going to look like! It will be fun.“ I am trying to Sound as natural as possible but apparently I am failing because Daniel Starts to squeeze my hand under the table. „I  think the both of you will have a great time.“ Alan says with a smile.

Marcia approaches the dining room with a plate full of freshly baked Scones. „These look delicious!“ I complement her. We keep talking about the things Dan and I are looking forward to in the Goblet of Fire, before we start eating the Scones. I take mine with clottage cream and a bit of strawberry jam. 
„ Are you nervous taking your GCSE's next year?“ I ask Dan with my best Hermione expression. He just shruggs his shoulders like Harry would propably do.
Marcia and Allan both have a laugh about it. We Keep talking and laughing until it is time for me to leave.
