# 75 Nethra's bitter past #

Nethra's POV

I went to unconscious state slowly. My eyelids begged me to open my eyes. My inner conscious spelled your name, Rahul. My will power didn't support me to fight for my future. I am helpless. My heart shed blood tears. I don't know what happened next.

I opened my eyes slowly. I was in the bed. The place was new to me. My heart echoed your name. I remembered our marriage and everything that happened, it was like 1000 arrows stabbing me at once. Immediately, I removed the blanket and get up from the bed. I couldn't guess out the place, it was new to me. I was scared to a core as I found no one there. I ran downstairs. Someone held my hand tight from my back, He was Gautham.

"Gautham! How did I came here?" I was shocked and relaxed a bit by seeing him.

"Nothing! Take rest Nethra," he said casually.

"What? What happened to my wedding yesterday? Where am I now? Did Rahul knows about my presence here? " I asked him painfully.

"It was stopped," again he said casually.

"Where am I now?" As I have no idea about my presence.

"U.S.A"

I was shocked as I have never expected this, "What do you mean Gautham? How did I came here?" I asked him worriedly and tears occupied my eyes.

Meanwhile, Gautham's dad came. I was happy at the moment I saw him.

"Uncle! Will you please take me to Rahul?" I asked at once.

"Ok sure beti! Get ready," he said and I have no words to express my happiness. Happy tears rolled down in my eyes.

He gave me a Marriage attire to wear.
I was confused a bit.

"Your dad sold you to someone. Knowing that I have saved you from that hell, beti. Don't worry about anything. Today is your marriage with Rahul. I have informed everything to Rahul's family," Sadness and happiness occupied me at once. My dad decided to sold me for Money. I became emotionally weak and I didn't show it off. I went to room and changed my attire. I need your shoulder at that time to comfort me, Rahul. I longed for you. How did my dad can do such things to me? Did money is more important to him than his daughter? He sold my self respect. I never ever forgive him in my lifetime. I am relaxed a bit that I am going to see you. I came out and shocked to hear their converse,

"Dad! I love Nethra from my childhood but she ignored me from the beginning. I never imagined that my love would succeed but Manoj uncle gave Nethra to me. If she ignore me again I will show the hell," he said shocking me. I pinned my head towards the wall.

"Don't worry! She is in our custody. So, she can't escape from us," he said and both of them laughed devilishly. I was scared and about to escape from that place. I was slipped and fell down in the floor. Hearing the sound, they stepped towards me.

Gautham touched my hand to make me get up and I pushed him away, "Don't touch me! I will kill you Gautham. Leave me from this hell," I yelled out.

"How can I leave you? You are so beautiful in this attire. Today is our marriage. Don't be stubborn and let us go, darling," I slapped his face.

"How dare are you to slap my son?" His dad moved towards me in anger.

"Leave it daddy. She has every right to beat me. Do you know how soft is her hand? I will take care of her dad. Let us give her one more day to think about marriage" he said.

"I can't accept you Gautham. Please, understand me," I said crying.

"But I am ready to accept you Nethra,"
He said and took me forcefully to his room. He threw me in his bed.

"Do you know how much I love you? But you ignored me and ready to marry him," he said and came to me closer. He touched my lips and I pushed him away. He kissed me forcefully as I can't breath. I was fighting for my breath. He left me hardly. I cried and begged him to leave me but he didn't leave me.

"Your beauty is tempting me more. It is not my mistakes. It is your mistake," said him and tried to hug me.

I slapped him again and he didn't leave me.

"Don't cry baby? I want to see only your smile. I will not touch you unless you give me by yourself," he said makes me relax a bit.

"But?" He extended.

I looked at him shockingly,

"This is only for today. Tomorrow is our marriage and be ready for everything," he said

"No! I can't marry you,"

"Let me see that too. You are adamant and stubborn. So, baby! You are not provided with food or water from today. Fix the date and tell me. If you extend it, you will see the worst in me," he said and left the room.

I cried a lot thinking about my situation. How could the destiny show such a hell to me? What will I do now? How could I save myself from this bloody people?

They didn't give anything to eat. I was dead hungry at that moment. My throat became dry, I saw a bottle in the table, I took it and drank the water till the last drop comes from it.

He touched my shoulder from the back and pinned me towards the walls, "You deserve the punishment, Nethra, why did you drink the wine instead of water?" he said and looked me from head to toe. I feel shame and push him away.

"Don't refuse me again and again. It is not good for you and your healthy body," he said lustfully.

"I will die instead of marrying you. Don't ever think of touching me. I will kill myself. You are a cheap rated fellow. I can marry only my Rahul," I said angrily with guts in my voice.

"Why should you die baby? Their is a man born to die for you. Before you die, I will send him to heaven." he said makes me to lose my control. My body shook at the moment.

"I will kill you now itself. You can't do anything to him" I said and pulled his collar. He pushed me down and tied my mouth and hands.

"Wait a minute darling! You are longing for Rahul. Do you want to hear his voice for the last time? He is in my control," he said and dialled your number.

"Gautham! Any news about Nethra. Everyone is spreading rumours and gossip about her. I can't bare it. I know about my Nethra. She is not such a kind of girl. She love me truely. She didn't elope," you talked from other side. I am happy to hear your voice after two days. Tears rolled down from my eyes. Do you know how much pain I have felt at that moment? It is my mistake of hiding Gautham's proposal to you, Rahul. He proposed me in my childhood and I said "No" I never think that he will cross my life again.

"Don't worry Rahul. She will be fine wherever she is! Don't lose your hope" He said looking at me with  grudge. He hanged the call.

"Don't do anything to my Rahul. I will do whatever you say" I said crying.

"Ok my deary wife! Tomorrow is our wedding. Don't repeat the same drama again. Refresh yourself and be ready to marry me. I am waiting," he said and kissed my hand. I turned my face on other side. I can't do anything at that moment, Rahul.

Sorry for hiding Gautham's proposal to you Rahul. I have never expected such things in my life.

"Don't cry Nethra! I am there for you," Rahul said and hugged me tightly to make me comfort.
