So today, I went to a provincial french oratory competition that my sister was in at a university some place out of town.

or·a·to·ry [awr-uh-tawr-ee]

noun

1. skill or eloquence in public speaking: The evangelist moved thousands to repentance with his oratory.

So it was basically a competition to see who had the best french speech.

Now, french isn't our first language, we just learn it at school, we have one class of it every day. But, this university was in a mainly French speaking town, and all there courses are in french there.

Meaning everyone there spoke fluent french.

If all of that wasn't bad enough,

-My sister wrote her speech this past week.

-She printed it off of her computer last night

-She practiced it maybe four times.

-And she had to say it in front of a filled auditorium of fluently french speaking people.

But,

She won first in her category.

How?

I really don't even know.

BUT SHE DID!

Over her friend who wins everything too.

That was just the cherry on the ice cream.

And you know, about twenty other people in her category.

My mom and I might've laughed at how ironic it was,

Just a little.

The thing was though, she was sure that her friend was going to win because her friend never even placed.

Ha!

Hahaha!

Anyway, that's my little story for today,

YOU PROCRASTINATORS HAVE HOPE!

DONT EVER DOUBT YOURSELVES!
