Chapter 28

Carlisle POV

Well it’s only a couple more weeks till I marry my beautiful Bella and I can't wait she asleep because she woke up last night and wasn’t feeling well it almost like she as the flu or something so I gave her some medicine and she's asleep again because it was one rough night for her with the flu.

Carlisle: I need head to work because they have a situation at the hospital I was just wondering if one of you keep an eye on Bella she has the flu.

Rosalie- go to the hospital I'll stay with her.

Carlisle: thanks baby girl
with that I left for work yes sometimes I like to call Alice and Rosalie baby girl because they are my daughters as far as I'm concerned so I was grateful that she was going to stay and look after Bella.

Bella POV

I woke up a few hours later then normal but that was ok because I was not feeling well and then Rosalie bought me some chicken soup and to let me know that Carlisle was going to the hospital and she was going to be looking after me until he got back.

Rosalie: here eat and get some sleep because to tell you the truth you don't look too good at all right now, Carlisle had to go to work at the hospital because they needed him for a situation

Bella: well that happens when you're a doctor and the chief of staff so if they need him for something there's definitely something going on at the hospital when they call him in on his days off  but one good thing about it he never seems to get tired when he’s doing his rounds but that's probably because he is a vampire after all.

Rosalie- it looks like you’re starting to get your colour back so that's good.
and she was right so me, Rosalie, Alice and Esme stayed in my room while I was sick and just finish doing what I need to do for my wedding.

Edward, Emmett and Jasper are all gone out to do grocery shopping so we can keep up appearances  because we don't want people getting suspicious.

that was a good plan if you ask me because they all need to look as if they are humans so that is really good thing, I'm getting so sick and tired of staying in bed because I'm sick. I just want my baby to come home from work so I can spend some time with him and so I can get some more sleep.

Esme : I think we just did a lot of planning for your wedding but I think you need to get some sleep now because if I know my brother he'll be making sure you're okay when he gets back.

Just as soon as she had said that Edward, Emmett and Jasper just walked in. The rest went to help them put things away which was a really good thing because to tell you the truth I need to try to get some sleep for some reason the flu is taking a lot out of me.

Carlisle POV

I was getting off at the hospital which is about time so I can get home to make sure everybody was okay because to tell you the truth I don't like it when Bella is sick and I have to leave her. I love her too much and I'd rather be there with her and make sure she's okay.

Nurse : see you tomorrow Dr.Cullen

Carlisle: see you and everybody tomorrow let me know if you need me for an emergency now that my shift is over for today.

Nurses : we will, just get home to your family and tell them all we said hello.

with that I left, I'm so happy that I can be around humans without hunting them, I have a lot of self-control that’s because of years of practice and being around people that I saved. it's good to have that passion cause I never want to be a monster that’s why we drink from animal and not humans, It's also good for the ones that don't drink animal blood but drinks from blood bags and criminals like the volturi they drink from human but only criminals, everyone thinks that the Volturi are bad  because of the stories about them but the truth is they only go after criminals when they break the law and a lot of them actually drink  animal blood.

Carlisle (gets home from work ) how Is Bella feeling?

Edward: she asleep again her and the girls were planning the wedding while she was in bed most of the day,   they try to keep her occupied because she couldn't sleep half the day till now. I think she's been having some of those nightmares about what happened her mother again but you weren't here today so she calm down after a while when Jasper was able to send her some clam.

Carlisle: that's a really good thing, so were all the girls and the others cause you're the only one here right now.

Edward: they need to go hunting again cause they find it hard being around her sometimes, you know they need to make sure they keep up their strength and everything but she is human after all. I went hunting yesterday so am good, I stayed with her while the others went and now that you're here I could probably go and hunt  just to be on the safe side but it still was good thing I went yesterday so I wasn't as affected as yes they were.

That’s one of the good things I love about family they always make sure to hunt more when they are around Bella because she's still human, they don't want to have a slip-up they've been around her since she was a little baby so with that I want stairs to check on her. there she was asleep after having some more soup, I don't like it when my poor baby has the flu.

Bella: wake up) babe you home, come lay down next to me and hold me.

Carlisle: you're beautiful baby but I don't like it when your not well let me get you to sleep again cause you're still picturing what happen to your mother am I right.

She told me that I was right so I went to lie down so she can get back to sleep, I hate it when my baby's not feeling well.
