{92} Wedding

taehyungs heart was beating at a rapid pace. who could be calm on a day like this? the love of his life will be standing with him at the alter saying 'i do'. nothing could get more exciting than that taehyung thought. unless kids came into the picture, taehyung loved kids and he always will.

nerves bubbled up in his stomach as he watched the lady, her name was mijin (he thinks, taehyung is terrible with names) adjusted his tie.

a few knocks resonated around the room and taehyungs father popped his head around. taehyung turned to stare at his father, smiling brightly.

"hello appa." he walked over to his father.

"i can't believe you're getting married." his father stared him in the eyes, tears slowly welling.

"appa please don't cry because if you cry i'll cry." taehyung exclaimed, voice cracking slightly due to the lump forming in his throat.

"aish i'm not crying." his father waved his handkerchief in front of his face before trying to discreetly wipe away the unshed tears.

over the few years taehyung was with jungkook his father never agreed to their relationship, being brought up in strict traditional family his father obviously thought it was wrong. but he decided his son meant more to him than what his mother had preached years ago.

taehyung was thrilled when his father randomly showed up in america to accept taehyung back into the family. that's when taehyung broke down and told his father he needed him at the wedding, whilst jungkook stood staring at the beautiful moment.

namjoon and yoongi both walked into the room smiling happily.

"you ready kid?" yoongi asked smiling at his best friend. yoongi couldn't believe taehyung was getting married, he especially couldn't believe it was before him.

yoongi was happy that taehyung was happy. he knew they had ups and downs but didn't every couple.

"i think so." taehyung smiled. his father turned to him fixing a loss string of hair and straighten his blazer.

"i think it's time." his father nodded at him, tears once again filling his eyes.

"appa please, at least let me see jungkook before i break down." taehyung laughed.

"ok ok." his father smiled, caressing his sons cheek. he was giving taehyung, his only son over to jungkook. of course he was emotional, his only son was officially leaving the family and becoming a jeon.

"it's time tae." namjoon smiled at his friend.

"ok." taehyung nodded watching yoongi leave first through the door.

taehyung remembers when he told yoongi he wanted him to be his best man, that was the first time he'd ever seen the min yoongi cry. yoongi cried for a good few minutes before he wiped his tears and punched taehyung's shoulder.

slowly namjoon had gone and taehyung was stood next to his father.

"appa what if he doesn't want to marry me?" taehyung turned to his father fear evident in his eyes.

"my dear taehyung." his father laughed. "i think he's head over heels for you, i think he wants to marry you."

taehyung nodded, hearing the change of music.

his heart began beating heavily against his chest.

an arm linking with his distracted him for a moment, looking at his father before making his way out the door.
