It has been two long days since both males have met, exactly 1 day, 13 hours and 45 minutes. Jungkook was not sure if he should message the male that he met in the cafe. Anticipation, curiosity that was slowly killing him, and a hint of excitement filled Jungkook's heart. The younger wondered how he should message the older male. He wondered if Taehyung would reply right away. He was worried that Taehyung had forgotten about him. Jungkook was clearly overthinking. However, he was also slowly counting, his eyes finding its way to the round clock that was hanging on the wall inside his room above his bed.
The single sized bed was neat, from the white spotless bed sheet smoothed out all the way to its corners, the blanket perfectly folded and the pillows that have no traces that someone was once sleeping on it. The wooden floor dust-free as the owner of the apartment was particular towards the sanitation of his home. Across his bed was a small wooden desk, piles of papers were on top of one another and sticky notes with different colors plastered on the wall adjacent to the desk. One note was special, a heart drawn at the ending of the sentence. It was the exact same words that was written on Jungkook's palm on that day.
He was currently getting ready for his afternoon class. Pulling his body to walk out of his room but gave up as he plopped on the floor, half of his legs was out of the bedroom. Leaning his upper body on the door frame that was beside him. Jungkook let out a dramatically long sigh as he asked himself questions that can potentially make him fail his classes.
"Is it worth it to go to school?" He asked nobody.
"Should I accidentally get a paper cut and tell my professor that I can't write?" Jungkook asked again.
"What is life anyways?" He sighed heavily.
"Should I just turn myself into a carrot?" He rolled his eyes at his own question.
Jungkook groaned and waved his arms out of frustration, as if he was trying to swat flies. The boy really hated going to school but once he starts class he forgets his "should-I-go-to-school ritual". After letting all his emotions out, he stood up holding the door frame for support. With a soft sigh, Jungkook walked out of his apartment locking the door before he closed it.
The air was cold but it felt fresh. Sunlight warming his cheeks. Jungkook looked around the streets as if he was searching for the older male. Hoping that somehow he will spot him in the middle of the crowded street. Sadly, Jungkook arrived at the entrance of his university failing to see the male that he didn't want to admit that he secretly misses. He entered with a heavy sigh. What was he expecting? He didn't know which university Taehyung went to and he didn't know which city the older male lived in. His feet leading him to the his writing class, head hanging low.
"Jungkook!" Someone called out his name.
Jungkook turned around to see a smiling male running to his direction, hair bouncing up and down.
"Hey, Hoseok hyung." Jungkook waved at the male who stopped running, holding his knees as he tries to catch his breath.
"Are you free right now?" Hoseok asked standing straight as his breathing stabled.
"Yeah, but I have class later." Jungkook answered looking up as he tried to remember his class schedule.
The cold October wind brushing against their skin, the smell of newly cut grass tickling their nose. Orange leaves falling slowly to the ground, some barely holding on to the branches that once provided them life. The sun at its highest point of the day. Its rays peeking through the remaining leaves, creating shapes on both male's faces.
"When does your class start?" Hoseok asked putting his left arm around Jungkook's shoulder while his right arm parallel to the ground as he looked at his watch.
