(AN: had to cut this and another chapter in two because it exceeded 4000 words whoops. also, it's really hard to get pictures or gifs from this episode or any episode for that matter.)

The man had woken up and was trying to get his hands out of the cord that surrounded them. He was unaware that we were still watching, but we were. I was ready to beat the shit out of him for answers. I needed to know where they took that little boy.

He suddenly looked down, realizing that all three of us were watching him. Claire had made a mask to cover her face, whilst Murdock, the blind ninja lawyer, had his mask over his face. I, however, was not going to put on a mask, to the vigilante's complaint.

I was not going to cover my face, not because I didn't care about my identity being known, it was to intimidate them. If I did not have a mask, it meant that I wasn't afraid of them. Showing off my position of power was fun, as well as them digging up my past. They would get very confused by that.

Murdock stepped closer to the Russian, making sure to be as slow as possible. Intimidation 101, don't rush it.

"Here's how this is going to work." Murdock got up in the Russian's face, uttering every word with simple threatening elements. "I'm gonna ask you some questions. You're gonna answer them. If you're lying to me..." He paused extremely menacingly. "Trust that I will know, and I will be unhappy. Where is the boy?"

"He is dead." The Russian's accent lathered his every word. Before the man got a chance to regret his words, Murdock swiftly punched him in the face. He coughed up the blood that had filled his mouth. I felt Claire quiver next to me, but I did not do anything about it. I just stood over to the side and waited for my chance to commence my form of interrogation. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but kidnappers were not included in that form of pity.

The man continued to splutter and spray blood all over his face whilst breathing heavily. "This is what unhappy looks like." Murdock spat.

"He's going easy, to my standards." I grinned cunningly as the man looked over at my bare face. He wasn't enjoying his time here.

"Where is the boy?" The blind ninja asked again.

"What do you care? If he's not dead yet, he will be." The Russian was getting on my nerves with every word he spoke.

"Why did you take him?" Murdock had a row of questions that were gonna get us nowhere. I was a professional interrogator. I needed to take my shot at him.

"Figured you'd come running." Well, you got more than you asked for, didn't you.

"Okay, it's my turn!" I shouted as I walked over, pushing the then weak vigilante out of the way. He tried to argue but I pushed him back again. "Let's have some fun..."

--

"Why'd you take the boy?" I threw another punch at the man.

"Fuck you, that's why."

I decided it was time for some more intricate techniques. This wasn't necessary, but I wanted to have some fun. It was my bloody day off after all. I put my hand over his heart. I pulled and pulled, not physically, but mentally. It was a trick I had learned a long time ago. He screamed in agony, but I kept my hand over his mouth. We didn't want any of my colleagues up here as of the moment.

"One more time for the ladies in the back. Why did you take the boy?!" I was getting impatient.

His eyes pleaded for me to stop, so I did. I pulled my hand away from his mouth as he took a deep breath. I stared at him to answer the question.

He did. "To-to sell the kid. Like all the others."

"Others?" I sarcastically smiled. "Do you want me to do that again? Because it really feels like you do." Why would this dick say something like that? Does he want me to get angrier?
