i yellped when the person pulled me up.

medic: fraulein. you could have hurt yourself. are you alright?

(y/n): yes I'm fine thanks to you.

i fixed my clothes before i looked up at the medic.

(y/n): i had no idea this bridge was so unstable. but how did you get here and where is everyone?

Medic: well frau don't freak out but zhis is a dream.

he spoke in a calm voice.

(y/n): a dream?

"thats right i remember last night. i went to bed and then i woke up. yes i woke up. this can't be right... unless this is a dream within a dream."

(y/n): but how did you-?

Medic:dell and i fiddles around with some zhings. and who would have guessed but we figured something out where zhis grew from. its only a prototype though so don't expect to much of it. after all zhis is zhe first test round we're making.

(y/n): doc you are amazing.

medic: don't zhank me just yet. i barely did anything.

i nodded with a smile. he claped his gloved hands together.

medic: i cant wait to see whats in store for us.

his bord smile somehow brought me at ease but it still made me wonder. why is he so happy about this? i mean sure he got the machine to work. its a big accomplishment but still, you shouldn't be happy to be here. this place is horrible and mysterious. its unexpected and strange. nothing makes sence. just like a real dream. but unlike a real dream i can actually controll my actions. However the thought doesn't bring me at ease. it only horrifies me. each wrong step could mean an injury or even death. I don't want my friends to endure something like this,nor can I ask them to. Its already bad enough as it is with soldier and engie being injured because of me. they might say its fine but i don't think it is okay at all. I'm the one who is responsible for this. they didn't ask for it. and still here i am with the medic who seems foolish enough to enter this dream willingly. But I'm terrefied. i haven't learned anything about this world yet. So how am i supposed to protect the doctor if I'm not aware of this dreams laws and boundaries?

medic: shall ve?

his thick accent snapped me out of my trance. my eyes scaned the man before me for a moment, after a few seconds i could finaly process what he said. I nodded in silence. he smiles at that and holds his arm out for me to take. i hesetate a bit before i do so.

(y/n): so doc. you seem awfully happy...

medic:oh i am frau. i can finnaly study your dreams up close. haha. zhis will be amazing!

(y/n): right... amazing you say...

i looked up at him in consern. he doesnt seem to notice untill we had reached the spawningroom of the blu base.

medic: you seem troubled. did i say anything to upset you?

(y/n): well... kinda. i don't think you are fully aware of the danger that lures around here. that's a consern i have.

medic: well you shouldnt worry. i know what I'm doing-

(y/n): NO! YOU DON'T! you have no idea what this place does to you! seriously! i told you about my dreams and you have witnessed soldier and engineer as they got back to the waking world. thier bodies where scared and wounded and yet your smiling at this whole indever!? how could you?!
