Ink cuddled into Error's embrace. He had woken up slightly confused (Last night was a bit hazy since he was half asleep), but happy. The feeling of being close to Error was amazing, and he had had the best night sleep he had had in a while from being in Error's arms, who was still asleep. Ink needed to get going soon, but he didn't want to leave Error asleep or wake him up. But he had less that needed to be done today than yesterday anyway, so he was sure it would be fine.
He closed his eyes and sighed in content. His skull was nestled under Error's and his arms were tightly wrapped round Error's ribs. He loved the warmth from their contact, and Error's loose arms around him made him feel safe.
Ink tensed up when Error moved below him. He hoped Error hadn't woken up, but a murmured "Ink?" told him he had.
"Morning Error." Ink said, still hugging Error tightly.
Error rubbed his eye sockets under his glasses he had forgotten to take off. "Morning Ink." He replied while stretching.
Ink resumed cuddling Error, not wanting to let go. Error blushed more and gave a small chuckle before tightening his grip on Ink. Ink's touch was amazing, and no hint of discomfort remained.
After a while, Error spoke again. "Don't you have things to do today?"
"Yes." Ink replied, not loosening his grip.
"Don't you need to get up and do them?"
"Yes." Ink once again replied. "But I don't want to yet."
Error chuckled and sat up. "Come on Ink the sooner you get up the sooner you'll be done."
"I know."
Error sighed when Ink made no attempt to move. He shifted them over to the edge of the bed, and carefully stood up, also forcing Ink to stand. Error's foot still hurt, but not as bad. He could manage to walk on it, just about.
Ink pulled away from Error after he was forced to stand up. He glared up at Error, until he realised from Error's expression that it still hurt for him to stand. "Sit back down." He ordered. "I'll heal your foot some more."
"I'm fine." Error replied, attempting to move forward. Ink stopped him and glared, and Error sat down.
Ink quickly healed Error's foot after taking everything off of it. He used as much magic as he dared to, knowing he would need to save some for working on the worlds. After he was done, Error once again stood, this time with hardly any pain. "Better?" Ink asked, smiling up at Error. Error nodded and let Ink lead him downstairs.
For breakfast Ink made toast. Him and Error ate at the table sitting next to each other. After they were done, Ink disappeared upstairs to get changed. Error picked up the plates and attempted to wash the dishes with the little knowledge he had of the task.
Once Ink had come back downstairs, he hugged Error from behind, nuzzling into his back. Error smiled. "You ok Ink?" He asked.
"Yeah," Ink said, pulling away from Error. "I'll just miss you." Ink smiled sadly at the ground.
"I'll be here when you get back." promised Error, placing the last plate on the drying rack.
"I know," said Ink, "but will you be alright till then?"
Error nodded. "Of course I'll be alright." He dried his hands and gently hugged Ink.
Ink sighed. "Well I'll be back by 2, so see you then?" Ink looked up at Error who nodded.
"See you then."
