You're The Only Reason

          During the entire car ride back , Jungkook remained silent. He never spoke about what the doctor said to him. But his mother could've guessed what's wrong.

The moment they've reached the apartment , Jungkook ran into his room and slam it shut. He then locked the door , not wanting his mother to go in.

"Kook , open up." She begged

"Please. Leave me alone , for now. Please." He sobbed.

Mrs Jeon had no other choice but to leave him alone to calm down. After a while , she heard Jungkook shouting from upstairs.

"Why?! Why is it me?! Why do i have to suffer this fate?! Why is life so unfair to me?!" He shouted as he threw the glass decorations against the door.

"Oh dear god." His mother immediately head upstairs upon hearing the glass shatters.

"Kook! Open up! Stop throwing , please. Don't hurt yourself." She sobbed , "please ... Stop."

It was then silence. There were no glass shattering , neither were there any sobbing from inside.

Jungkook then open the door , seeing his mom on the ground , sobbing.

"Sorry Eomma. I'm alright. Just slightly more stressed out than usual." He smiled to reassure his mom that he's fine.

She wiped away the tears that was streaming down her cheeks. As she look into Jungkook's eyes , she could see the pain , the sadness and the anger in his eyes and yet he's smiling so brightly in front of her.

"I hope so , don't do anything stupid. You're my everything in life right now. Rest early , we're leaving to Daegu tomorrow."

"Wait? Tomorrow? You said next week." Jungkook frowned in displease.

"You were the one who said you wanna move there as soon as possible. Plus , i've already transferred you to a school in Daegu. So it means even if we move next week , you can't attend the school here anymore."

"Oh , right. But Eomma , i-i don't wanna go." He looked down , hoping his mom wouldn't be mad.

"What? No. You have to go with me."

"Why?! I have Jimin! He can take care of me!" Jungkook said as he was on the verge of letting tears stream down his cheeks.

"No! I can't let you stay in Busan alone! Go with me , please."

"You know what , i don't give a damn." Jungkook rolled his eyes and close the door on his mother.

The next morning , Jungkook's mother was surprised to see him already packed and ready to leave. She thought that he would've still be in bed though.

"Done?" He said , with clear frustration in his tone.

"Uhm yeah , i'll call for a taxi and we can leave." She replied

Jungkook seem like a totally different person from the day before. He seem more bitter. He didn't had a smile on but instead he had an annoyed face.

"He's probably in a bad mood today ... I hope he would feel better when we arrive in Daegu."

*A fews hours after arriving in Daegu*

"Hello?"

"Good afternoon , i'm Mrs Jeon. I'm Jeon Jungkook's mother. He'll be the new student in your school."

"Oh , i remember you. I'm Mrs Kim , the principal. How may i help?"

"I understand that he'll need to be in school tomorrow but we've just arrive in Daegu a few hours ago. So i was wondering if he could attend school after the summer holidays since its coming in just a few days time. Plus , i want him to get use to Daegu as he has never been here before."

"Ah , i see ... No problem."

"Thank you very much."

"No problem. Bye."

"Bye."

Immediately after she ended the phone call , she wanted to tell Jungkook the good news. Well , in her opinion , its a good news.

He didn't have to attend school immediately so she thought that he could have more time to get use to the new enviroment.

Mrs Jeon hoped that during the entire summer holiday , Jungkook will head out some day instead of staying indoors all day , which Jungkook had already plan on doing so.

"Kook?" She knocked on the door.

"What?" He asked coldly when he saw his mother standing outside.

"Uh , i just want to tell you that you don't have to attend school tomorrow. You can attend after the summer holidays , i have already spoke to the principal."

"Whatever." He said as he slam the door shut.

          Its been a month since the summer holidays has started. Jungkook stayed at home for the entire month , not even going out to buy food or anything. His mother encouraged him to go out and find some company so he wouldn't be bored.

But no matter what she said , he never listen to her anymore. He've changed ever since they've moved to Daegu.

"Maybe you can go out for some fresh air. There's a newly opened cafe down the street , i'm sure you can find some people there. Or maybe head to the park which is just right next to our apartment. Its impossible that there's no one at your age. Aren't you bored at home?" His mother asked , quite annoyed that Jungkook didn't even try going out to meet new people.

"What? You want me to find some company at these places? What about saying its a way of getting me out of the apartment or wanting me to be kidnapped by whoever is out there? I'm happy staying at home. I just want to watch my movie , you can go out yourself if you want." He replied.

Jungkook's attitude has gotten way more bitter than his mother expected. Its like as soon as they moved to Daegu , he changed. For a reason that even his mother didn't knew. He wasn't the sweet male that his mother seen when they were still in Busan.

She has never seen him acting like this , not even when they had an arguement. She didn't know if it was because he hated Daegu or he hated the fact that his mother wanted him to move to Daegu with her. Or maybe because he miss his friends.
