I was driving down the hill that my house was on. The night sky was a navy blue color. It was almost see through. I lived in a city that had so much smog that seeing a star would only be possible on earth day. I drove down the hill into the nighttime traffic. I started to think back to all the times my parents made me cry. As a baby, they yelled at me, blaming me for everything. As a teenager, they called me a whore or a slut. They always suspected me of doing things. Bad things.
As I continued driving I finally could start to see the park. I sped up to try and get there as fast as I could. I pulled up to the parking lot of the park. I turned off the ignition and closed the gas tank. I started to head out of the parking lot to get into the park. I passed by the jungle gym where I spent lots of lonely days doing my homework on the swings. I started to pass by some trees I used to also do homework under or take naps under or kick pretending they were my parents. This park was the only place my entire life that I could get a moments rest from life and just escape it all.
I went deeper into the park where there were more trees around and fewer people would go there so I could hide there for a bit. I kept on walking until I saw a big old apple tree. I decided I would sleep under it for the night. I sat down and looked up at the apples in the tree, they were a bright red. Like blood, like my parent's blood. I looked down at my hand and said "like my blood"
Immediately after I said that I heard a loud rustle in the bushes beside me.
I grabbed on to my knife expecting something or someone to jump out at me, but nothing did. I pulled out my knife and started to walk over to the bush about to stab whatever it was, but when I got there, nothing was there, not even a rabbit or a mouse, just nothing. I walked back to my tree to try and get some sleep.
$(Time Skip)$
"Bub-bye!" Said some cheery voice
I immediately woke up to a person swinging a hatchet and aiming it for my neck. I jumped out of the way and took my knife out of my hoodie pocket.
"Awwww... you dodged it, your fun." The cheery voice said once again
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" I yelled
"Sorry, but I cant tell you my name without you telling me yours first. But your going to die so I cant know my preys name." said that same cheery voice except it was a bit darker this time
"WHAT?!"
I started to run to my bike (motorcycle) my sword was in there and I needed it. Hatchets were big and took up more blade space than my knife did, and there were more killing methods than just stabbing with them. With my sword, I could stab and slice plus it would be easier to block his attacks with a sword. I ran to my bike as fast as I could and he started to catch up to me. I could finally see the bike with my sword on it. I ran to it like a person would right before the finish line in a race. I got on my bike and got my sword off it. I quickly unsheathed it and ran towards the boy. I looked at him and he was a pale looking boy with a tan and blue hoodie. He also had a mask on top of his mouth with a smile on it.
"Kill, kill, kill.""no"
"Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill."(good job if you read all of it)
"Come on, it will be as easy a killing your parents were. It'll be a piece of cake."
"Good-bye now!" The cheery voice said once again.one of the boy's hatchets swung at my face. I dodged, but just barely. the hatchet cut my cheek a bit, but I was overall okay. I took my sword and tried to slash him with it, but he also dodged my attacks. I could tell that that boy has killed people before considering he didn't hesitate when he tried to kill me.
the boy was getting closer to me and he was about to attack again. I could obviously tell that this was a one-sided fight. as much as I wanted to kill that boy I would hesitate if I did. he would advantage of that and kill me. I could start my bike and I could try to outrun him or just run him over. starting my bike takes time though, and I probably don't have that type of time. it takes approximately 7.3 seconds to start my bike. And every time I swing at him it takes him 7.8 seconds to come back and swing at me once again. it's possible to get on my bike and flee, but I would have a very narrow time frame to do that. if I am to fail I would die. this is my best option though, so its all or nothing.
he swung his hatchet's at me once again and I swung at him with my sword while getting my feet ready for running to the motorcycle. he jumped back and I immediately took my chance to run to the motorcycle and start it. I hopped on, kicked the kickstand off the ground and switched on the ignition. I heard that nice sound of the engine, but the boy did too. he started to run faster towards me with anger.
"YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM ME THAT EASILY!"
"No, I am"
I grabbed the clutch and pulled it all the way back. The bike jumped in the sudden motion. I drove it towards the boy hoping to run him over. I did. I ran over his arm, and I suppose that was enough to make him stay on the ground. I walked over to him and punched him until he was unconscious. I won.
