I decided that I wouldn't kill him. I wanted to interrogate him when he woke up. I tied him up to a tree and laid him down in a sitting position against the tree. I took his hatchet from him. I sat down and stared at him for a bit. He occasionally twitched and mumbled. Sometimes i could make out what he was saying, but all the words were completely random and were all slurred.
His arm looked broken. I probably broke it around the Ulna or Radius based on how it was twisted. It was bleeding a lot, but not enough to die. I needed him alive to interrogate.
(20 min later)
I sat there for a long time and he didn't show any signs of waking up. He still twitched and mumbled, but after so long of him not waking up I decided to go to sleep myself. I slouched a bit and tried to go to sleep. It was a little hard since I found sleeping hard to do.
(Morning)
I woke up to the sound of chirping crickets and wind rustling in the trees. The pale boy was still asleep or possibly faking it to try and avoid death. I started to get impatient so I poked him a bit with my knife. To try and wake him up. He didn't wake up and I thought that the first thing in the morning I want to be dealing with is food and not him. I looked around the tree to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary before i was about to get food. As I got to the back of the tree I saw the rope was untied or cut. The blood rushed out of my face and I suddenly felt dizzy. Then I saw behind him hidden by the tree his hatchet, but only a corner of it. I was sure now that I had to be ready to kill him at any moment if he moved. I didn't have time to interrogate him. But when I was asleep why did he not kill me. I was easy prey. So why?

Hello, author here! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. And sorry the chapters so short. But good news for all of you who actually like the story. I WANT TO START POSTING DAILY OR WEEKLY. Of course if i do this then chapters wont be so long, they'll be like this one, but it will be better than waiting a long time for a long one with an uncertain date. I know a lot of you don't actually like the story, but those of you who do thank you for your support. How about Wednesday and Saturday.
