PART 2

"I just wanted to apologize. But I guess that isn't enough...Can you at least give me a second chance!" He said desperately.

I thought for a moment. "...Hmmm let me think...Uhh No." I said and turned around to walk away. But he held on to my wrist just before I could step into the ballroom.

"What is it now!?" I yelled.

He flinched. "...I'm not going to let go until you either forgive me or give me a second chance!" He said.

"Ughh, you're so stubborn! Why would you want another chance so desperately!? The ace I knew back in high school never begged or backed down to anyone." I smirked.

"..Well..it's because.. I-I." He stuttered.

"You what!?" I screamed impatiently.

"I love you okay!?" He yelled.

My eyes widened. "What!?!" I yelled stunned.

"Did you not hear me! I love you! Got it?" He yelled twice as loud.

"..W-why are y-you t-telling this to me now!? Why did you break my h-heart back t-then, huh?! Why did you humiliate me! A-and to top it off you took something so important from me just for a stupid bet!!!" I stuttered breaking into tears and dropping to the floor. Making my vision all blurry.

He knelt down so his height was the same as mine and gently..embraced me. I could tell he was shocked because I didn't push him away or anything. But I didn't give a damn anymore, it's all in the past... Maybe I should let it go, right?

"Reina I'm asking you this for the last time, please give me a second chance." He whispered gently in my ear which almost made my heart melt.

"...Prove it." I said while wiping my tears away.

"..W-what?" He asked confused.

I sighed. "Prove how desperately you want a second chance." I said standing up.

"Hmm.. Okay fine. How about going on a date with me? And it'll be a real date this time." He smiled.

I thought about it. "..Uhh okay fine. Why not? And no tricks this time, Ace. I swear that I'll..hmm what will I do to you?.." I said.

"You can kick me in the balls as many times as you want. Or just until I can't have babies anymore, 'k?" He said.

I giggled. "Heh, I'd love to see the look on your face when it's done." I laughed.

"..How cute." He said.

I stopped laughing. "..W-what?"

"I just said how cute your laughing face is. I mean I've never seen it before." He smiled. I blushed.

"Yeah yeah okay enough with all the gushy love stuff. So about our date preparations." I said.

"Oh yeah. Oh do you still live back in Pennsylvania?" He asked.

"Yep. I still live back in hometown. Do you?"

"Yeah. How could you not know. I live a couple of blocks from your home."

"Oh no I moved. Hah Ace I'm 25 I think it's about time I moved out of my folk's home. I live across the park, you know by 25th Avenue." I said.

"Oh yeah I know that place. The condos right? Okay How about we meet by the movie theater at 8th at about 11:30 am ish?" He said.

"Sure why not. Wait when does your plane take off tonight for Pennsylvania? I mean we're in New Hampshire right now." I said.

"Uhh it's about 10:03 pm right now. So my private jet takes off at about 57 minutes and 2 hours. I'll probably arrive at PA by about 4 in the morning. So yeah. Won't get much sleep, but it's worth it." He said.

I smiled. "The good old Ace who's always smart with math." I said. He smiled. "Yeah I can't wait for the date tomorrow.." I said dazed.

For the first time in about 6 years I feel like something good is going to happen.

"Ready to go in and have some fun?" He asked. I nodded a yes. He held out his arm and I took it while blushing slightly.
