*what is going on in this picture?*

May has quickly dodged a flying book as she landed in the top most floor of the house. She pulled out her sword and began creeping along the wall, peeking over the corner. She saw Max fighting off what seemed to be a naked, boney demon. It tackled Max down but Max held it back with the flat part of his sword on its mouth. May stalked from around the corner and pierced the naked demon on its spine. It screamed and began to shrivel up into a ball as the sword burned its skin.

"How is your sword able to do that and not mine? I'm compound leader." Max complained as he pushed himself up. May shrugged as she flipped it in the air and caught it by the handle. Max rolled his eyes and lead her downstairs, where the source of the fires and smoke was coming from a huge pile of furniture. She coughed and covered her mouth as they crossed it to where Emily and Megan were fighting a wimpy vampire. Another demon, this one grayer and more wrinkled than the last one, cried a battle cry and launched itself onto May. She swung her sword and it clashed against the demon's burned stick. With every swing, the demon met her sword with his stick and it went on for a few minutes.

"You'll never beat me pretty girl," it chuckled. May kept swinging, determined to not give up. She cornered the demon into a wall and held the sword to its neck.

  "You sure about that?"

"Oh yes." The wrinkled demon smiled and pointed its stick to May. The tip began to glow a deep green and it blasted a thin, green material that hooked onto May and began tightening instantly. May struggled and tried to tug away from the material but it tightened more and more until her arms were turning and ugly shade of purple. The demon cackled and danced at its spot.

  "May! Duck!"

May followed the person's order and crouched low. The demon began wailing and grabbed its large ears as it wriggle on the floor, May's sword was deep into its stomach. May spun around and saw Emily, blood dripping down the side of her head, panting and looking at the demon. The fire still roared in the background as the others still fought back the demons.

"We need to get help!" May yelled over the fire as she pulled out the sword from the now burned demon.

"You know the others hate it when we call for help!" Emily bursted.

"There are two houses filled with evils and only four of us, we need the help." May spoke slowly but loudly to get the message clear.

"Fine! Go tell Max to send a message while we fight off the ones we can!" Emily turned around and began running after a small gnome stealing treasures. May ran to Max, clutching her sword tightly and swinging it at a group of tiny demons.

"Max! Call for help!" May shouted over the crackling of the fire. He nodded and began tapping on his smart watch, the screen turned blue and began pulsing a wave of sound. The world seemed to stop for a second as the evils clutched and pulled at their large ears at the high-pitched sound. Loud cracks began appearing all around them as the witches and wizards showed up. A group of fairies popped up from behind a rose bush and bolted to the action. A sunset appeared from behind the large fires as a group of werewolves came from a nearby forest. Soon, both the houses were packed with supernatural beings fighting against the evils. From the outside, mortals were watching as the fire spread around the house, protective charms made them think the supernaturals were firefighters. May swung and jabbed her sword at any of the demons that cane at her. A muscular, purple demon came from behind a hole on the book shelf in the room next over and sludge around the home. It's long, thin tail whipped around in every direction and rubbed his white beard. It gave a strong odor of blood and wet soil. It turned its large head to look at May and her now glowing sword; the goblin's metal was white hot with power and the pure gold handle was shining more than ever.
