*💜😈👾*

The tip of the wand began burning against May's skin. She sat still, unsure what to do in a situation like this. Ethan shifted and moved slightly every few silent seconds, scooting to the edge of the bench.

"Ya not talking, huh?" A second female voice spoke. She had a New Yorker accent.

"Tina, your hurting the man." The first female voice snapped. Indeed Tina had been pressing her wand a bit too hard on Ethan's neck.

"Now all I want os for you to give us all you've got, deal?" Tina said through gritted teeth. Ethan and May stayed quiet, waiting for the witches to end them with a single spell as they probably did to their other victims.

"Can't. We don't have anything," Ethan spoke calmly. The first girl snorted. May felt her eyes burn.

  "Alright then, say good- AHHH!"

The first girl's hand writhed in pain as she dropped her wand. May jumped up and tackled the first witch. Tina was also suddenly pinned down by Ethan; both witches struggled under their grips. May looked around for a hidden area to hide them in. Finding a small alleyway behind an abandoned gift shop, she pointed at it with her head and turned invisible. She bolted for the area, Ethan turning into a wispy shadow with Tina and popped right next to May in the Alleyway.

"W-w-hat are you guys?" The first girl shook as she laid with her back on the brick wall. She had thick, frizzy brown hair and rose gold glasses. Tina had short, curly black hair with thick eyebrows over her brown eyes.

"Nothing you have to worry about." May turned visible again but now with her large feathery wings spread behind her, making her seem larger than she normally is. "Why have you been using magic against mortals?"

"We need the supplies!" The first girl shouted and broke into tears.

  "For what?" May asked.

"Survival against the Dark Arts of course. If you angels aren't doing it, we have to find a way to survive against the enemy," Tina explained. May looked at Ethan, he shrugged and looked back at the witches.

"This date took a turn," he murmured through his teeth.

"Why mortals?" May asked, this time a bit more impatient.

"They're easy to get at." She shimmied her shoulders.

"We use the Confundus Charm afterwards." The first girl nodded urgently.

"Shut up, Joan. Your gonna get us caught with the government," Tina sneered. Joan mouthed a "sorry" and turned back to May and Ethan.

"Can we leave?" Tina begged. May glared at her and urged to spit an insult.

"It's MAY we leave," Ethan corrected her. May turned slowly and looked at him, her eyes brows furrowed.

"I'm not good at interrogating people." He shrugged and looked down at his Vans.

"We'll let you leave if you stop messing with the mortals." May folded her wings and stood up straighter.

  "Can't." Tina studied her wand.

"What do you mean 'can't'?" Ethan asked with a quizzical look.

"Again, we need they stuff for survival." Tina sounded annoyed now through her New Yorker accent. May pondered for a bit, digging deep in her knowledge to find a way out of this one. A light bulb seem to light up inside her head as a thought appeared. May dug into her cloak, trying to find her sword. Feeling the cool Imperium gold against her hand, she pulled at her large sword.
